8000 home tickets already sold, based on the Exeter game that means around 600 left for home fans

Depends if they mean 8000 total. Does it include away tickets sold so people rush to get one?

I imagine it means home supporters only as I suspect Bradford will only know how many of their allocation have been sold!

Last report from Bradford City talks about 350 tickets sold.
Not a key game for them.

Won’t the free Bradford tickets for the survey potentially inflate the attendance if they were sent automatically whether people are able to go or not (as presumably they’re already counted)? Or worse still lead to a ‘sell-out’ when there are actually plenty of spaces on the day?

This has not been organised well for this game I don’t spend a lot of time of Facebook but while they are bit cringy, I do follow some of Rovers fans groups. From what I’ve read, some people have received e-tickets by email but a lot still haven’t. If people are now buying tickets in case their free one doesn’t arrive (understandable) then that will make the problems I was asking about even worse!

Depriving someone else if it's a sell out.

Update on Complimentary Tickets for Bristol Rovers v Bradford FC
Hi Chris
We’d like to apologise for the delay in sending out the complimentary tickets for the Bradford game this weekend.
Due to the configuration of the stadium seating and standing plans, we have needed to make adjustments to allow for all of those wishing to take up the ticket offer.
We’d ask that anyone still waiting for their ticket clicks the below link to activate their ticket and allow us to send to this email address.
This link will be active for 24 hours, at which point the complimentary tickets will no longer be able to be claimed.
As you will have seen, the game is heading towards a sell out, but we have held off tickets for the purpose of this exercise, this action has lead to their being less tickets available to purchase.
We’d once again like to thank you for taking the time to fill out the survey, and we look forward to having you with us on Saturday.
Many thanks

Assume they have returned / not taken the section of the south stand that has now been released for Rovers fans. Hope we have over 9K there and its a great atmosphere!
