Well, they don't come any tougher than this. 1 defeat in their last 17 matches and 9 wins from their last 10 games. The only team to take anything off Vale in their last 10 games is Exeter, who managed a 0-0 draw. They've also faired well against the top sides. If we can return with 3 points today it will easily be our best win of the season in my opinion. A draw would actually be a fantastic result in other circumstances, unfortunately, a point today would not be enough in our quest for a top 3 finish. Our away form has been decent but not spectacular, our last 5 on the road W2, D1, L2. However, play our best and we are capable of getting a result. Likely to be a very close game settled by one mistake or one moment of magic. Really can't call this one. Enjoyed this balanced read. My thoughts entirely. If we win here I’m pretty certain our confidence will continue to grow. On our day we can outrun anyone. We have the skills and teamwork to makes this happen today. A 2-0 win would be great. We can do this. Bring it on. |

This is a tough fixture for us, no doubt, but make no mistake, Vale know it’s also a tough fixture for them. We’ve controlled most of our matches recently and there is that feeling it’s all going to click in the final third at some point. Should be a cracking match.

So many times this season we've given 99/100 in terms of an almost complete performance, normally falling short in the final third. Could today be the day it finally all clicks? Christ I hope so. |

Strangely confident today, I just think the boys will rise to the opportunity, really looking forward to what should be a real quality game of football.
I expect big games from Conor T and Eliot A but think the star of the show could be Josh Grant pushing up the field, now he’s got a full game under his belt I reckon he could be key.
Let’s hope Joey and his 100%ers can pull off the win.
