Thousands on the pitch and a punch thrown? Good luck sorting that out. And not being argumentative but their keeper, young though he he is, did everything to disrupt the game from the first minute. The lad doesn't deserve to be punched whilst in his place of work though - very cowardly too, no doubt somebody feeling brave within the cover of a crowd. We've got a nasty underbelly at our club, and it needs routing out. Oh I'm with you Tilly, but lots of things to consider before we start going on a head hunt.

So many people videoing yesterday, maybe something will come to light. The kid was obviously copying what he's seen more experienced keepers doing, he'll learn when it's the right time to throw a few dark arts into the mix.

Congratulations on your promotion the last two results have been absolutely incredible .I posted a few times earlier in the season but since you started winning I didnt want to come on here in case I put the mockers your team I cant help feeling a bit of sympathy for Northampton fans who surely must of thought at 3-0 up that the job was done I fear for them that they wont get through the playoffs. Back to your game, yesterday was what being a football supporter is about a day that you will remember all your lives. I dont know how you got through that match yesterday as I am not a Rovers fan and I was a bag of nerves watching them scores come through. I have tried to defend Joey Barton on here and I am made up he has come through for you with a team that reflects his character I really do hope he stays with you and pushes you on too the championship hopefully his colourful past will put off any potential suiters Anyway congratulations again UTG Cheers. Hope you manage to avoid the drop!

Bahahaha no way sh** fans are trying to claim the game was rigged, some given us credit; immediately called "not real Citeh!" by their own fans, despite those doing it being in their 70s-80s. They apparently care about us so little that they all think it was rigged. Horrible, slimy club if you ask me. Have some decent supporters but the vast majority that would rather see us liquidated than a competitive Bristol derby is just utter tinpot, they could truly be 23rd in League 2 and they'd be satisifed is we were 24th.

It's so Dam strange a lot of the time how they act. Same people who said when we signed Anderson "he must be sh** cause no player would want to go there" then try claiming "they're only going up because they got carried by Anderson." Which is it. I even saw one of them trying to compare the City-Rovers gap as being as big as the gap between...wait for it...Tranmere and Liverpool; yes, the Liverpool that have won 19 League titles and 6 Champions leagues, potentially a seventh at the end of the season. Fact is if they didn't have Weimann they'd have likely gone down to the league we'll be in next season. Comparing us to them to a gap between Tranmere and the second biggest club in English football just makes me laugh.

Forget them, vile club, vile fans, not worth worrying about.

Most fans wanted to stick with JB when things were tough as they could see the passion he had for the club and football in general, JB gets our club and i really believe he thinks he can take us a lot further, the important thing is that Wael ,our owner, believed in JB to, many an owner would have panicked and this wonderful day would not have happened. So pleased for him and JB, these days are the reason following a lower league club is so rewarding ,we don't get have much or achieve much but my goodness what when we do something special it don't half mean a lot! Up the Rovers and up the Toffees! never been relegated have they? that is not about to change!

Great reading the thread! What a day. First promotion I’ve missed being there in person in my lifetime, been at Southend, 1989, Wembley twice and D/R. Bought my ticket early, in March, then last week family medical emergency meant I wouldn’t be able to go so sold the ticket. Sure it was enjoyed in the East Stand though. But son managed to sort out computer and watched it yesterday afternoon alongside Soccer Saturday not the same for me but it’s all about the team. Can read the emotion in everyone and I feel much the same. I’ve remained stone cold sober the whole time for other reasons but also to enjoy every single moment of yesterday, today and the days to come. My grandad saw the very first Rovers game against Newport in the 1920s and started me off as a Gashead. Long gone but it was good to watch the game yesterday afternoon with my youngest who was so happy after watching his team AFCB go back to the PL this week. As he said it was better than the Mansfield match which we watched all those years ago in the Thatchers! What a great day, what a club, what a team and what a football manager. Only JB would have set us up to go for 7 goals and the team were brilliant. To have overcome all the problems that’s been thrown at the club over the past two seasons and to build what he’s built is something special. Now we’ve had 7 promotions. Fantastic! We are back to our home of League 1 but I somehow think JB is planning more. (And thankfully we are out of this horrible league with its awful referees and awful playing styles of most teams.) UTG! Good time for the Wareham Gas family on the pitch, Rovers, Bournemouth ( made you sweat a bit!) and avoided relegation in the prediction league! hope Medical emergency ended well.
