Belshaw 7 he had absolutely nothing to do
H. Anderson 9.5 ran ran and ran some more. So impressive Taylor 8.5 not tested at all Connolly 8.5 as Taylor, mr composure T. Clarke 8 put in his shift
Whelan 8 not got the range of Coutts but did a great job in there
Thomas 8.5 would’ve been a higher score if he knew where the net was Finley 8 created but missed his partner in there with him Evans 9.5 fantastic performance and goals. Some player E. Anderson 9.5 he beat that fullback probably 50 times in the match. Breathtaking confidence
Collins 9 he loves a goal
Subs: Nicholson 7 Grant 7 L. Clarke 7
Ref 4 Scunthorpe 0.5 worst team I’ve ever seen play professional football

Belshaw 10 player of the season.
H. Anderson 10 versatility of the season. Taylor 10 stoker of the season. Connolly 10 hope he's ours next season. T. Clarke 10 sick note of the season.
Whelan 10 m o m took hold of the game of the season.
Thomas 10 phoenix of the season. Finley 10 Scouser of the season. Evans 10 give the ball away but all he does positively is score goals of the season. E. Anderson 10 wizard of the season. A perfect bow out to us, please enjoy your career and make the most of it, but please just don't go one place..
Collins 10 striker of the season.
Subs: Nicholson 10 best fall from form and still gets his gig of the season. Grant n o l e L. Clarke n o l e
Ref 6 decent decisions but taking players off when most of our fans had left the pitch because of over exuberant was over zealous i m o... Scunthorpe 2 poorest of the season. Great timing though. I thought their keeps was the worst at Mem since non league days....
Absolute credit to their travelling fans. Much respect. To watch that unfold while you're down must have been something hard to so and we all know what it feels like to slip out the league.
The irony of us slipping out the league when we did was the first time we had actually ventured into that domain of the season - much like the way we obtained promotion yesterday.
Congratulations to all players on staff for securing nothing short of a fairy tale promotion from where we were on Jan 1st - 18th.
Absolutely amazing scenes. Amazing fans and amazing day!
It's a nice Sunday roast, GasHeads, and an even nicer summer.....sit back and watch whom will join us Exeter and FGR (congrats to them for being up there all season and winning champions status), Peterborough, Derby and Barnsley....?
Take care, Gas and hopefully see you all in a few months time singing Bristol Rovers all the way...

Belshaw 7 - nothing much to do
H. Anderson 9.5 - do not know where he got his energy from. Got past players constantly despite being fouled and very effective. Taylor 8 - scored a vital goal and safe at the back Connolly 8 - very good on the ball T. Clarke 7 - reasonable performance taking account of lack of match practice
Whelan 8 - made sure that Coutts was not missed
Thomas 7.5 - great tackling high up the pitch and always looked a threat. Missed two great chances. The first was very selfish as an easy layoff to Evans who had an open goal. Finley 7.5 - some very good moments but missed some good chances Evans 8.5 - a bit below par in first half but superb second half performance E. Anderson 8.5 - always a danger with good goal assists and a well taken header for the last goal
Collins 8 - despite outpacing the defence in the first half was not very effective and fell over too easily. Great second half, two goals and was cheerleading the fans even when it was unlikely that we would score seven.
Subs: Nicholson 7 - good cameo Grant nole L. Clarke nole
Ref 5 - no need for such a long break and didn't book enough players for constant fouling. Scunthorpe 1.5 -Fear for them next year if they play these youngsters, you need conference experienced players to get out of that league. Taking account of their lack of ability and the number of shots we had, at least a dozen goals would not had been a surprise.

Belshaw 7 a spectator, but well done Belly, a truly inspirational season. H. Anderson 9.5 M.o.M never stopped running he typifies everything good about this club. Taylor 8.5 won everything and a goal that in all honesty should have been about his 10th of the season Connolly 8.5 Mr Unflappable , he reads the game so well. T. Clarke 7.5 strong in the tackle and probably our best left back, but fitness has been the issue all season. Whelan 8 controlled the game, setting a fine example to all the younger players. Thomas 8.5 did everything but score,I hope we can sign him as he's supremely talented. Finley 8 linked up well with Whelan and didnt seemed to miss Coutts too much. Evans 9 he got better as the game progressed, two goals and some lovely skills. E. Anderson 9 I wonder whether the Scunny fullbacks head has stopped spinning yet ! It seems fitting that he scored the goal that clinched promotion, what an absolutely inspired signing he's been ! Collins 9 Two goals and the usual hardworking enthusiastic performance,Azza is a great talent ! Subs: Nicholson 7 he's become a bit-part player recently,I wonder whether we've seen the last of him. Grant n.o.l.e. L. Clarke n.o.l.e Ref 7 the long delay added to the pressure but he otherwise did ok Scunthorpe 3 very poor, and sadly a good bet to suffer another relegation next season.

Same from me. Although I haven’t been doing the ratings myself I always look forwards to the analysis and results. Will try to contribute more myself next season if you’re still doing it.
