I would just like to say a thank you to you for the nice comments here ref DC and the Vale in general........ I've just read at the SWINDLE town forum and they are basically a VILE [NOT VALE] bunch!!...... Well done. The stagsnet forum is also worth a read. It did take me until page 8 of the match thread to notice the substitute word for bad language, and I laughed my way through to the end!😆 Yes, they were not happy with their team selection were they? Read like ours did in September! 😉 UTG!

Glad we are out of L2 with no chance of playing Solihull Moors next season. We’d be jealous of the tents the full length of one side

Speak for yourself, i always want the team from this country to win. I do like Klopp too How someone would rather Madrid win against a club from our own Country is beyond me. Likewise, i left another Rovers group , on facebook today as they were full of hate for Liverpool and talking some utter and hate filled nonsense.

5 promotions in 10 full seasons for DC isn’t it? Yup. Also never finished lower than 13th when in charge for a full season and always promoted through playoffs when his team qualifies for them...also he has taken two teams two divisions higher than when he took over...he must have one of the best records in lower league management by now.... 2010/11 Salisbury Southern Football League (Premier) 3rd Promoted through playoffs 2011/12 Salisbury Conference South 10th 2012/13 Salisbury Conference South 2nd Promoted through playoffs 2013/14 N/A 2014/15 Bristol Rovers Conference 2nd Promoted through playoffs 2015/16 Bristol Rovers League Two 3rd Promoted 2016/17 Bristol Rovers League One 10th 2017/18 Bristol Rovers League One 13th 2018/19 N/A 2019/20 Walsall 12th when season abandonded 2020/21 Walsall (left them in 11th place) Port Vale N/A 2021/22 Port Vale 5th Promoted through playoffs It is a great record and no shame in the two ‘N/A’ seasons, in my opinion. No substantial managerial career will be without low periods and ultimately the ability to bounce back after them, as he has done, is all the more impressive.

Solihull Moors now 3-1 up against Chesterfield in the playoffs. They play some good football as well.
Could be the next traditionally non league club to break in and establish themselves in the EFL.

I've just read at the SWINDLE town forum and they are basically a VILE [NOT VALE] bunch!!...... Well I guess many on here will think DC is as much ours as yours. And tbh after what happened to the Swindon players at your place do you really expect them to be any different? Perhaps had you treated their players better then their attitude might be different. Best not to look at football forums if you want empathy and considered opinions. 😉 Lbh, had results been different yesterday then the attitude of the fans and the forums would have been different as well. But what a great ovation from the Mansfield fans during the match in the organised ovation towards DC that showed real respect from opposing fans. But best not to expect the same from some keyboard warriors. Great to see. UTG!

Chaos outside a stadium where Liverpool are playing, the authorities never seem to get it right for these Liverpool games. Perhaps ‘fans’ shouldn’t climb over walls to get into stadium True but perhaps the authorities should have had gates open for the fans and not made families wait for hours trying to get in. I wonder why it didn’t happen to the Madrid fans? Actually I probably don’t wonder, we probably know why. UTG! ps. I’m presuming you weren’t at Woking in Jan 15 when several of ours did similar when the side terrace was locked and no more allowed in. Wasn’t right but all fans will try to do it, not just the clubs some don’t like.

Solihull only holds just over 5000 so 82 ers will be ok although we would struggle. Are all conference grounds automatically deemed ok for the EFL only I recall Kidderminster and Macclesfield winning promotion to the EFL but being rejected due to their grounds not being up to spec.(Even though Chester then in L2 played at Macc's ground for two seasons whilst their new stadium was under construction).

There's no way I'm hoping for a Madrid victory. Support a Club from your own Country for Christ's sake. "Scouse not English" remember. Booing Abide With Me and the national anthem in the national stadium. Scabby bastards climbing fences into a stadium displacing legitimate supporters who paid good money for a seat. I'm so glad they lost, just a shame they'll again be playing the victim card ad finitum. Strange this kind of thing only ever seems to happen to Liverpool followers... 🤨 Go on, tell me Hillsboro was drunken Liverpool louts as well while you are at it eh. You do understand the Maggie had planned to let that city go into a managed decline and were prepared to let it and it’s many people , go to the wall. I read comments like these and can hardly believe what i have read. I won’t go any further as i am clearly wasting my time

After the Toxteth riots Maggie was urged by some of her cabinet colleagues including the Chancellor to not put any money into Liverpool. She totally disagreed and dispatched Michael Heseltine to sort out the rejuvenation of Liverpool. Those are the facts, unfortunately over the years the Maggie haters have tried to tar her with everything to suit their agenda.

They were managed by Marcus Bignot and yes, you are right but i can’t remember the name/s but i believe a couple of those that were part of thr RAFC were or are involved. I shall now be looking that up EDIT Mike Turl was or is still, a director/part owner but the other but is that Darryl Eales ( who tried to buy Rovers but went Oxford) is there now , also as part owner

How someone would rather a team that ALREADY has more fans than us in this city (our city not their city) to win yet another major trophy and attract even more fans from this city is beyond me. You think all Real fans live in Madrid?

Manchester dealt with unemployment and adversity through rebuilding and regenerating their city with a lot of hard work, and investors who saw an opportunity. Liverpool dealt with unemployment and adversity by watching the city crumble, getting aggressive and moaning relentlessly to.....well, everyone really, and declaring themselves hard done by and victimised. Lived there for a year and hopefully I'll never return.

You think all Real fans live in Madrid? I care less about Spanish glory hunters ruining Spanish football than I do about English ones ruining English football or Bristolian ones stealing our oxygen. In any case I wanted Liverpool to lose not because I wanted Madrid to win but in the hope that there will be even one less glory hunter jumping on their bandwagon today.

You'll never stop glory hunting. Sadly you are right but the fact Liverpool have more ‘fans’ in Bristol than either us or City is utterly pathetic. We’d all want City to lose if they were in a major final with one of the reasons being because we compete with them for fans, so how come most don’t have the same attitude towards the thousands of local fans of the big clubs?
