Agreed. All they are interested in these days are the Premier league and the ladies equivalent, even more so now since a certain ex England woman footballer has become their latest favourite. Yes, I think you’re probably right esp about football in the lower leagues, including National League. Tbf I don’t mind their coverage of women’s football, I’ve always felt that giving greater coverage to football played by half the population needs to be covered equally by the national public broadcaster (the BBC), so no problem to me. But, their coverage of lower leagues is poor and today it was just plain incompetent to get it all wrong. UTG! I believe it was a Press association error, as Sky Sports News also had the wrong score displayed.

With all the minions checking everything nowadays I would expect something like that to be noticed. It was obviously going on for a long time because when Solihull scored the opener the scorer was registered under the name Solihull but the score read 0-1 in Grimsby’s favour so something was up early on without being noticed. Not the biggest of cock-ups, unless you were a Solihull fan who wasn’t there and started celebrating or a Grimsby fan who wasn’t there and.... 🤔 UTG!

I hope Grimsby make a better job of it than last time. Didn't they follow us back into the FL the season after our Wembley final, and then managed to get relegated again last year?
I think of them as far too big a club for non League, but perhaps nobody is too big or small these days with Sheffield Wednesday, Ipswich, Fleetwood and FGR all in L1.

They'll be all right as long as they don't employ an ex Rovers manager again, Paul Hirst must be a bit of a legend in Grimsby, as that's now twice he's got them promoted back to league football.

They did and Holloway managed them but then they had financial problems/irregularities and there were protests from the fans. It seemed a pretty bug thing at that time
