Interesting take on wanting to preserve all that is British and traditional whilst residing overseas. Bit like Nobby frothing at the mouth at Remainers as he sits in his house in Germany. I certainly don't need to justify myself to you for why I live overseas. Likewise if you don't want to preserve all that is British and traditional why don't you pack your bags and move to your desired republic. Urmmmm Brexit 🙄 |

One of which still has unrestricted movement of people with the UK. There's a further 138 countries in the world which use the word republic in their title to choose from which are unaffected by Brexit. 🙄 |

My desired republic would be right here in the UK, but thanks anyway. Well unfortunately for you that's not going to happen any time soon. I genuinely hope the Queen has many more years ahead of her. She has done a superb job in maintaining a role which belongs to a different era, and she has done it in a dignified selfless way. I admire her a lot and also respect her. I think things might change and unravel once her time here is done. |

However, would you extend that to those in government too? Plenty of Public school and Oxbridge educated bankers or lawyers there and they have actual power. (That's separate to MPs in general, but not that many get past junior minister level). |
