Going against the small sample of opinions on here but really don't think it'd be worth the club getting DVDs produced. For those that have said that navigating YouTube, download issues etc then I suggest you spend a bit more time learning. The world is only moving more towards this and soon DVDs will be a thing of the past completely. I think the most likely scenario is that the club produce something and upload it to YouTube as a film with a cost. With the direction the club have taken lately I don't think they'll produce a DVD and I don't think a small sample of users on here will give them enough to even think about it. Like most, I could find the individual match highlights & post match interviews etc on You Tube, but how long do you think it would take to search and watch 46 games back to back? Hardly an enjoyable experience. I can't believe anyone would want to do that.
A DVD or downloadable film featuring every match, post match interviews with JB and showing our league position as we climb the table would be far better. Just press play and sit back and enjoy with the family.
AS I said, PS5 play DVD's so they're hardly extinct. I'd prefer a DVD but have no problem with a downloadable film and would be happy to pay £50 for either if the quality was good.
You wouldn't have to search for 46 games if, as Mario and I have suggested, the club upload a paid-for video of the whole season to YouTube. I'm guessing the reason there is no DVD is that sales of that format dropped by 40% in the last year alone and have fallen by 90% since 2008. Not many people want them any more except a small diehard group. And if you say, well the club should cater to that group, perhaps they should bring out a VHS version too.

I still buy dvd/bluray as new or second hand as I collect films, I do not have any device to download the suggestion of the 46 game proposal etc besides I and a few others would like a dvd of our recent promotion' and for me, to add to my existing collection of Bristol Rovers Promotion Seasons. Also I only have free view therefore no Netflix or any other packages regarding entertainment.

I hear what you're saying but I think this is different to buying a film. I used to buy DVD's of my favourite movies 10+ years ago but don't any more.
However, I would certainly buy a DVD of Rovers 2021/22 season and probably watch it once or twice every year. I'd like a physical copy because it's something I'd treasure and never consider selling, unlike my movie DVD's which have gone to the charity shop.
I don't think you can really compare the two.
As I said, I'd be happy enough with a paid for downloadable version on You Tube if it included the full season highlights, interviews and a record of of league position after each game.

It's very applicable indeed if the club are pondering whether to pay for the costs of producing one and putting it on sale.
