I know their crowds will be approaching 30,000 most weeks but the salaries of the 3 signings today won't come cheap

FFP doesn't work - some clubs i.e. Bolton Wanderers & Derby write off £0000.00's in debt to non football businesses and then start over spending from day 1 in their new guises.

You’re right nsblue, it doesn’t seem right. But they are interpreting the rules and with the few players they have at the moment they have to recruit to be able to put 11 players on the pitch. They can’t play 5-a-side! But it doesn’t sit right that they can now sign players who may be getting thousands a week whilst small, local businesses may go under because they are owed money and under the existing rules non-football debts are not seen as important. It is wrong.
