Better than 0-1, we can't win every game.

FT Gas 1-1 Turkey Grimsby 1-2 Maccs Woking 1-1 Eastleigh Barnet 1-0 Aldershot (Akinde off injured?)
Not bad all in all, would have snapped your hand off for 10 points from those 4 matches and to be 9 points off Barnet as well. Could've easily been 12-15 off the pace given our respective fixtures.

True mate. Still waiting for Barnet to slip up. Not so sure they will though Oh I think they will. Aldershot in 18th place. They might have won but 1-0 not really good enough if i was Barnet. We concentrate on our game, our performance and our results and we will be fine. There are 4 months to go. Plenty of time for a small crack to bring the whole house down. We are hitting form at the right time. The bus keeps on moving!

Barnet now have: Lincoln (A) - Top of form table. Grimsby (A) - 8th in form table, 4th in league. Southport (H) - 2nd in AWAY form table Halifax (A) - 7th in form table, 8th in league.
We have: Nuneaton (A) - 22nd in form table Woking (A) - 21st in form table but 6th in league Braintree (H) - 10th in form table, 15th in league Dartford (A) - 23rd in form table, 21st in league.
By end of Jan, I would be surprised if the gap was anymore than 5-6 points.

Fairly happy with that after it looked like we wasnt gonna get anything from that game. Unbeaten run continues. On to Sunday!

Anything could happen over those games, and I'd like to think Barnet will lose more than one of those games. But at the same time we have to win our games to stand any chance of winning this league.

Well done Ellis, without him we would be coming away with 0 points. I noticed him winding the Torquay player up with his arms and saying something to him. The Torquay player fell for it hook line and sinker.

Yep, Ellis did really well, as did gosling I thought.
Anyone know what was up with trots? Looked like a hammy to me. Was that his problem before as Phil was quick to say get him off

Lucky point. Dubious pen decision but the ref was atrocious. Any contact and the whistle goes.
Tbh I thought this kind of performance was due so I'll take a point. The back four couldn't pass two feet in the first half.
Ollie Clarke really isn't good enough for a start. Maybe as a sub if we are holding a lead but he is not a creative midfielder in any way.
Bring on Nuneaton on Sunday. First away game for me since Altrincham so I fear the worst.

water poor first half cost us really, some poor tactical decisions from DC didn't help.
Good to see a bit of fight in us I guess to get the equaliser, however dubious the penalty was.

Honestly felt DC got the formation and personnel wrong today,we played with no width and Sinclair out wide,Gosling came on and played central, why change a winning formation for the game. Sinclair was superb in the middle and Gosling flying out wide, why change what aint broken. Lucky point but they all count

Clarke had a couple of good moments but generally struggled and Sinclair out wide just seemed to get in the way. I felt Taylor also kept drifting wide as well which didn't suit him.

But tbf to Clarke didn't he say that Gosling had picked up a knock? Hopefully he starts on Sunday.

I have got a lot of time for DC, just feel he may have over thought this one,but still we got a point when not at our best

The decision to put Sinclair out wide was rubbish. He's wasted out wide. Should have been CM with Ellis out wide and Clarke in the stands.
