I don't get it, why has no one started any threads about the price of a cup of tea at Wembley or where we're going to display the champions trophy after today's game?
Two poor changes to the starting line up cost us two points today. DC had to hold his hands up to that one.
Also - do Stewart and Taylor think we didn't watch the game. Both blatantly lying talking about the amount of chances we created and how much pressure we put them under ... err nope. Sorry Marcus. One team played football today, the other skyed the ball every millisecond.

A good result (that we admittedly didn't deserve), but I've got a horrible feeling that our inability to bury simple chances is going to bite us in the arse in a big way when it gets to the business end of the season.

Which simple chances would they be? We didn't create any. Poor day at the office but stole a point.

Got there before the keeper and missed. Not that unusual really.

I didn't hear about Gosling, but when he came on he went central, and seemed ok fitness wise. I have got a lot of time for DC, just feel he may have over thought this one,but still we got a point when not at our best
The decision to put Sinclair out wide was rubbish. He's wasted out wide. Should have been CM with Ellis out wide and Clarke in the stands. Clarkes been great coming off the bench this season he's still young but he's played a very important part in our season so far. I think your being harsh , ok today he wasn't great but in general I think he's been ok and he's still young and is probably going to get better and not worse

Today just shows that fixtures are so hard to predict in this league. Such different performances from both teams compared with just a few days ago.
I realise that tactical changes are needed for different situations, but I really think we should start with Sinclair pushed up centrally behind the front two. IMO it has worked very well in putting pressure on teams since DC first did it during the Gateshead game. Certainly can't see Sinclair out wide as the right option. If ever a player was made to play in the "engine room" it's SS.

The whole experience today was muted. The crowd were quiet, as if everyone was suffering a massive hangover and didn't want to make too much noise. The players didn't seem particularly interested and I was groaning at the number of misplaced passes and the fact we seemed to be second to every ball. Sinclair was wasted and appeared lost out wide, and whenever we moved down the flanks all our players seemed to get sucked towards the ball and there was no-one in the middle. I saw the Trotman incident clearly, he was contesting a ball then having won it poked it straight out, stopped in his tracks and clutched the back of his thigh. I said to my lad "He's pulled his Hamstring, that's the last we'll see of him for a couple of weeks" Luckily we had Mr Dependable to replace him and I have to say M.M. looked a better player and marshalled the defence well.
I think the penalty was a fair enough award; they had been wrestling our players in the area all afternoon and getting away with it. I didn't see us getting anything from today's game so the draw seemed like a win in the end.
In my opinion we need to get De la Verde back if at all possible; he would have murdered them down the flanks. We could have had Aguero and Suarez in attack and they wouldn't have scored either with the lack of service to the middle.

I do agree with you regarding sinclair though he's fecking amazing In the middle and generally average out wide. dC changed it and we're still going nicely so happy tonight. If gos had been fit he'd have started and we'd gave been better first half. Easy to pick on Ollie Clarke but if we had still had LDV or replaced him Clarke would have been on the bench and probably come on towards the end to sure things up for another 3 points We were unbalanced today for one reason and it's the same reason we've struggled the last few years , not eonogh wingers in the squad.

Just didn't go wide enough of the keeper. We could easily be singing his praises and celebrating a win tonight. However, his use of the ball was poor generally today tbh. I wouldn't want to lose him though.

But why, when our winger came on,he played central midfield. Leadbitter and Gosling down the right side was working very well in the games prior to this,if Gosling was not fit for ninety mins,he looked ok the time he was on,so I was surprised he didn't go straight out wide

The only reason he's started today was because of our lack of wingers , Sinclair got push out there ( mistake) so Ollie filled in.7 New winger please DC or LDV would be great if it can happen ?

I reckon maybe he was sensible last night but his house mates had it large and he'd hardly slept. Certainly looked like it. Add to that mansells heads spinning too it was a shakey first 45 mins. I was talking sbout bringing Sinclair into the middle after about 20 mins. Luckily it happened second half anyway - we looked much better and might have won it. UTG.

When we play Sinclair out wide and lose the shape of 2 wide men we struggle. I dont know why DC does not get that. Minor moan aside its been a good four games and you cant win them all. Still think he tinkers too much though :-)

Surely logic would suggest you put Gosling on the wing & Sinclair back in the middle. Also why drop McChrystal, our Captain, after he was outstanding against Macclesfield. If he wanted to give Trotman another game why not play him on Sunday but why tinker with a winning team anyway?

All valid questions but to be fair we're doing pretty well so while we ain't gonna agree with every tactical change and position we are second and we've got a manager who other than the end of the last season where he was given a sh**ty end of someone else's stick he's always won promotion and I've got every reason to think hell do it again with us this year . Utg and happy new year blue army , Irene and Darrell Clarke , keep it going.

Which simple chances would they be? We didn't create any. Poor day at the office but stole a point. Parkes missed two free headers. Sinclair forced a good save from the keeper, shooting high from the middle of the box. Harrison had the keeper look on when he shot just past the post (not sure he was caught flat footed or confident the ball was going wide). Blissett dragged one back with his heel that went straight to the keeper, but could have gone anywhere. Monkhouse had a defender throw his body in the way of a goal bound shot in the final minute.
