Belshaw 6.5 a decent game and couldn't be faulted for either goals, distribution a bit below his usual high standard.
Hoole 5.5 some nice forward runs but he wasn't impressive when defending
Kilgour 6 a steady game with no frills.
Thomas 7 a good debut, strong heading and slotted in well, and a goal as a welcome bonus.
Gordon6.5.5 neat and tidy on the ball but as Hoole , his defending needs working on.
Coutts 6.5 not up to last seasons standard but fitness is gradually improving.
Finley 7.5 M.o.M a good strong game, I understand that his fitness is being managed thus still not able to
effectively complete the full 90+ minutes but he was missed when subbed.
Evans 5.5 a pale shadow of last seasons star man, poor delivery on set pieces and generally looks out of sorts.
Marquis 5 we just dont play to his strengths and contributed little, until he can learn the system he may well
be better as an inpact sub.
Loft 7 worked hard,never afraid to get stuck in and now he's discovered his hitherto missing scoring habit, well worth his place.
Collins 7 he was on fire in the first half and should have had two or three goals, a great assist for Lofts goal,faded a bit later.
Subs: McCormick 6.5,obviously short of match fitness but great to have him back and a late curling shot showed us a glimpse
of things to come.
Saunders 5.5 plenty of energy.
Jasper 6 he looks like a real handfull, very promising
Clarke 6 ok, at the moment probably the best choice for a problem postition
Anderson 6 I dont understand why he was left out unless he was carrying an injury.
Ref 5 better than last week which wasn't difficult.
Morecambe 5 they came to give us a game,a welcome change from last week fiasco, We could and should have won
but with our profligacy they nearly nicked a win so all in all a fair result
