Just bumping this as such an important event should not be allowed to drop to page 2.
What people Marcus and family must be, to be thinking of fund raising for others at this difficult time. He was different class on the pitch at Twerton and he is showing different class off it now.
I really hope that the current players turn up to attend and show their support.
What would be fitting would be if the FC allow the SC to hold their player of the year presentation evening at the Mem just following the Marcus Stewart game. There will be hopefully a sizable crowd to support the match and this would increase the number attending the presentation evening, that us mere average Joe's can attend.
How good would it be for people like Jill Scott or Paul Scholes to present the trophies?
I know the Club Person of the Year gets voted on by the SC committee, but for all their fundraising efforts for others, I would hope that Stewie the king and family get the award.
I have said before that Adam Tutton should win, but I am sure that can be delayed for a year as he would be another worthy winner for his outstanding services to the club, the community and various charities.

A group of people have started the walk from Valley Parade to Anfield today, they arrive in Liverpool on Sunday. More than 50 ex-pros are walking with a core of 16 walking the whole 175 miles across 3 days. It's a shame the club haven't publicised this amazing event.
