Went to the game. We were good in spells and dominated throughout. Nuns comfortably the worst outfit I have seen play against us this season.

bollocks got so into rebuilding a 3dprinter i forgot there was a game on, another win, fantastic surprise when i remembered, had a good laugh reading this thread, in fact had to hold the wee back at times, yeah tbone might not have Taylor on his favourite player list, but in my house he's a god and thanks to the FFS and others we have an emotional attachment to him probably for the rest of his playing days, i could quite easily call tbone a wazzock, but i wont as after all we all have differing opinions and if i knew tbone it wouldnt stop me buying him a brew of having a chin wag, he sees something we dont, he could be right or wrong but at the end of the day, we would all be as boring as a bunch of shithead if we agreed on everything  still another 3 points in the back so come on up the Dam gas ,shove that up your lady gardens nuneaton(or is that what vicars do at the church party,to save on the fishpaste sarnies )

I may take you up on that drink offer. Is it a beer or a refreshing cup of camomile, to which you refer? I am quite in to both.

Do you think you could print us a top striker? We already have one.

Wow, we out number the home fans? Well done Gasheads. We have 50% more than them! Crazy! We had about 30 in the hospitality too so add them to our figure and take them of the home. Although they were insistent on us paying cash for everything so not sue if the hospitality was even counted in the figure

Nuneaton very average.Bit worried when the fog closed in as their floodlights were very poor.We played well and almost overdid the approach work at times when it was crying out for someone to shoot.Blisset's first touch awful but posed a threat.Gosling very skillfull and we exploited their cumbersome right back with most attacks coming down the left.Met'Tote-End' and had a very enjoyable day .Awful ground but great day.Superb ref.Should have scored more than two but need to be more clinical up front. P.S.Didn't realise Spiess had already gone back to Notts County until I read Puddy's interview.

Fog was a worry, a comfortable win, don't think we played well up front and all the threat was down the left, but we always looked solid and I felt we had more gears to go through if we needed them Three points and a lot better to come with hopefully 2 or three additions.UTG

That was a walk in the (foggy) park, Nuneaton were the worst team this season by some distance, cant even remember one shot.
Maybe Barnet starting to feel the pressure now, their up and coming fixtures look tasty. I reckon they will bottle it.

We don't even need them to completely collapse, just lose a couple.

Small point but it appears as if Mansell scored the first goal and not Taylor.

It was definitely Mansell. I was on the decking near that end and had a very good view of it.

I was sure it was Mansell as well to be honest. It wasn't a great win and not one that we'll look back on too often, but the kind of game you just have to grind out. From 10 minutes in, it was obvious we were by far the better team and we just had to be patient and clinical. As it tuned out we were. Thought that Monkhouse's cautious play was well-suited to today's game as he makes the most intelligent passes in the team and rarely gives away cheap possession. Blissett scored a well-taken second and we sat off after that as Nuneaton were never going to cause us any problems. We'd be kicking ourselves if Barnet had lost and we hadn't capitalised, so maybe an important win come the end of the season. UTG
