Very subjective. People making a call on something they know very little about. Personally, I am really happy with Joeys current squad of players. Although for me, Aaron Collins has been the standout player so far. Special shout out for Gibson Thomas combo.

Mr Hooper, after many decades of watching football alongside football fans, finally realises the truth.

Based on these stats, a couple players I'd look to move on in January window if possible:
Zain Westbrooke (obviously) - Perm Jerry Lawrence (needs game time) - Loan Josh Grant (if he's fit) - Loan to prove his worth Trevor Clarke (not good enough, sadly) - Perm Alfie Kilgour (not L1 standard) - Perm

Only Collins and Loft have done really well consistently. Belshaw has been excellent in some games and looked a bit shakey in others. The rest have all underperformed. The team and formation is constantly changing like it was this time last season and that’s partly down to injuries and suspensions again but also Barton has to take some flak for it. Saturdays selection was baffling and we lost that game when he picked the team and formation. We need to go back to basics this Saturday. Not that i have been to many games but i have watched, via ipad and i think you are spot on. I certainly don’t think we can repeat what we did in the league below but then, look where we were when Trolls took us to the play offs, even if in the league below. We just seem to have a chasm in this tier, between the true sleeping giants and the rest

Is an over performer someone who’s better than you think they are? 🤔 Not sure if a joke but someone who performs better than previous form suggests and better than we think they are is how i have always seen it. I think most of the team at Twerton were in that bracket

Gordon has a nose bleed if he has to go past the half way line.

He can definitely play as a LWB but agree he’s not really a LB and whilst we are 4 at the back his chances are limited and it’s an area we definitely need to strengthen in January. Possibly no.1 requirement. If we have Gibson Connolly and Thomas all fit, 3-5-2 May make a return.

Think us Gasheads are sitting far more comfortably than they are at the half way point
