A quick look at their forum and they are RATTLED 🤣🤣 A special mention to Gert Mare 👋👋 I can see you sitting yourself over there. This Gert Mare is having a Gert mare. He says he's not rattled but brings a post up from about 5 years ago (sunnier days when they were on their way to getting TO Europe 🤣) and then has to keep saying on their he's not rattled. At least his user name is appropriate. 🤣😁 I have noticed that the subjects they bring up keep coming around again and again, how boring, you'd think they would come up with new stuff, they've been around since 1982 you think they can pull some new stuff up since then wouldn't you |

YES 4 pages on the reds at last.thou got to love you chaps every time we are having a mare you do come out of the woodwork with some belters.i dont know about rattled but you do cheer me up. ….and you come out of the woodwork to threaten our players, burn our stadium down, chase our players off the pitch for equalising and tear our hoardings down. Not to mention the owners who have an incredible telepathic skill of guessing the release fee…. …if all you get are 4 pages on a forum and a few “belters” then FFS grow a pair, at least we aren’t doing any of the above. 1982Ltd wont get relegated this season.
They will just have a below par season.
Rovers are a long way from promotion contenders. We need a five game winning run to even be serious playoff hopefuls.
I suspect January will be key to if we do get on a real roll again.

I look at OTIB from time to time - It does make me smiles reading their dustbin thread about us (they really must love us deep down to keep adding so many pages). Sone of the posters though really are total melts like the ohanrahan bloke or whatever he calls himself - a very bitter little man. And Slarti someone - the fella in the cowboy hat who looks the image of Matthew McConaughey in Dallas Buyers Club - He's another one who isn't very pleasant. Bet neither go to games

Remind me - how big is the Bristol Rovers dustbin thread over on your forum? the thread is massive and getting bigger by the day.its just a bit of fun,some of your chaps come on and have a good bit of banter the way it should be |

The only reason I get excited about cup games is the hope that we draw ‘them lot’ , couldn’t give a toss about any other team in the cup. You can’t beat a Bristol derby , my favourite fixture as a gashead, it’s up to us to make a league derby possible again. UTG !!

They just say what they know would be accepted on there which gives a perception they could well be city fans. It’s like there is tolerance bordering on ridicule because they always look down on us. There are posters on there that openly state they hate us and give the reason as being we tried to steal their ground when they went bust. I am of an age where I have seen us play city quite regularly at Eastville, Ashton Gate, Twerton and the Mem. I was good friends with a number of the big guns in the Avon Soul Army as an ex town Deejay. I’ve stood on the East end and Tote in the 70’s and I’ve seen us get hammered by city - 5-0 and 4-1 and also seen us beat them. I would suggest, as with Gaschat there are many fans on OTIB that have never witnessed a Derby so persist with the mind the gap response. I’m not sure outside of the luck of a cup draw it’s likely to happen anytime soon. There’s no question city have always had richer benefactors, a better ground, bigger budgets, played regularly at a higher level and more fans as a result. Whether Rovers ever get that new ground in my lifetime remains to be seen but that doesn’t say we won’t reach the championship beforehand. Always remember Gerry Francis achieving it with rag bag rovers so why can’t Joey. I don’t think any of the above would be appreciated by OTIB as we are the gift that keeps giving. However we have never stooped to the lowest of their lows. Burning stands down, Chasing players and punching players off the pitch at the Gate. Intimidating players through encroaching on the pitch with no readdress even though the game was shown internationally on sky. I think because these issues were never dealt with properly an arrogance of being untouchable has been bred which fuels the many pages on the dustbin thread. No sorry it’s not banter |
