Belshaw Reliable 7
Gibbons weak in attack and poor at the back, often out of position 4
Thomas good in the air and generally ok on the ball 6
Gibson looks class but at times too slow with his passing 6
Gordon Had a lot of the ball, was singled out and caught out a few times in first half. Going forward great until final ball which often was poor 6
Rossiter closes down but offers little going forward 6
Finley too many wayward passes, got stuck in but needed more quality 6
Evans wanted more from him today in a match we needed to dominate, just ok 6
Sinclair did little 5
Coburn worked his socks off great goal and an all round quality performance 8
Collins one superb goal one assist but lacked a clinical finisher's instinct. Should have seen us home. 7
Subs: Connolly looked assured and ready for 90 mins 7
Hoole cameo performance but was skinned on the cross for the winning goal.5
Marquis hopefully he will come good, nothing to suggest that today. 5
Saunders time is running out, and perhaps needs to move on in January, needless foul that led to their goal.5

Belshaw 7 he had little to do. Gibbons 5 not impressed,he gave his winger too much space and continually went backwards in possession Thomas 7 a good strong game and improvedfurther in the second half with Beefy on Gibson 7 similar to Thomas. Gordon 6 the usual mix of dodgy defending and promising going forward..The left back position has been our weakness this season and the opposing teams have sussed this and target our left side and for what ever reason Joey wont play Clarke whom i.m.o. is the better of the two contenders. Rossiter 7 very good defensively, not very creative though. Finley 8 he put in a great shift. Evans 7.5 he's improving and provided some good set piece deliveries Sinclair 6 a more muted display being mainly deployed as a right wing back position. Coburn 8.5 a swashbuckling centre forwards display Collins 8.5 a goal and an assist although in truth he could and should have had a hattrick. Subs: Connolly 7 we improved with his arrival Hoole 5 he wasnt on long enough to get up to speed. and gave his bloke a free cross which resulted in the goal Marquis n.o.l.e. Saunders n.o.l.e. Ref 2 he got most things wrong and had totally lost the plot from about 30 minutes Fleetwood 6 well organised and won the first half battle but another team of playactors and cheats, |

Gibbons 4 - opponents always seem to have wide men with room to cross when he plays (maybe a formation fault not his). Was poor going forward.
Thomas 6 - reasonable but slow to move the ball in first half
Gibson 5 - first half slow to move the ball, could of done better clearing the ball when they scored. Missed an open goal. Better second half
Gordon 5- defensively poor but a few good attacking plays
Rossiter 6 - average and could have offered more offensively
Finley 5.5 - all action but error strewn display
Evans 5.5 - very poor first half but better in the second
Sinclair 6 - has obvious class and ability but did not make the most of it perhaps through lack of match fitness
Coburn 7 - poor in first half but very good after half time
Collins - 7.5 super dangerous in the second half but should scored more goals
Subs: Connolly 7 - if he had started I think that we would of won.
Hoole 4.5 - brought on to do a job but failed to stop the cross for the equalising goal although the lack of marking in the box was criminal
Marquis 4 - did not make a positive difference
Saunders nole
Ref 3 Poor but not his fault that we only drew. Down to Barton first half tactics and the players who yet again failed to win a home game when clearly the more talented team

Belshaw 7.5 can't remember one save in 2nd half he had to make.
Gibbons 5 don't get it? Hasn't settled.
Thomas 7 tough match and done ok.
Gibson 6.5 I like him but allowed far too much room for 1st strike.
Gordon 6 defensively poor, perhaps push him further up.
Rossiter 8 really like his box to box play.
Finley 8 very good game, some of his passing is worthy of higher league.
Evans 6 not seeing it atm but did link well with SS in 2nd half.
Sinclair 8 always a threat.
Coburn 8 class.
Collins 8.5 m o m goal and assist, where would we be without him?
Subs: Connolly 7.5 resolute.
Hoole 5 poor to allow to be sold a dummy.
Marquis 5 poor to try to cheat by diving.
Saunders 6 strong addition but didn't affect the match.
Ref 0 it's all been said.
Fleetwood 5 a shame they feel the only way to come back with something was to gamesmanship like they do. Horrible. Rooney had a good game and I like their 4, but we knew what was about to unfold at 3pm, so am disappointed we didn't deal with it more professionally 100 mins later.
We're better than that.
Cut out the diving and mimicking of gamesmanship, and we can show the world what we can do.
I'm sure we'll be better off in points and entertainment value...
