What with this being all over the sports news it got me thinking.
If in a bizarre twist of the world and his ego he would sign for rovers would anyone want it to happen.
He would obviously blow teams apart at this level but could he cope with the lower level of football and the lower level of players he has to play with. That's without the fact he would probably destroy team moral.
For me it would be a no. He just wouldn't fit with what is building in the team and in the future.

Sure why not. Especially as we could likely pick up Messi whilst we're at it.

More likely to sign Ronaldo McDonald at rovers.

Great player, but horrible selfish person on and off field, no thanks, the same thought crossed my mind when JCH seemed to be out of favour at posh, would we have him back? same answer, no thanks, miserable so and so who would upset the brilliant dressing room ambience we have.

Do you read of the acts of charity he has initiated and contributes to, I’d say he was the opposite of selfish and has never forgotten where he came from. Funny how the media can vilify some such as him.

I am sure that he, like millions of others does his bit for charity, i suppose pro rata a pound from me equates to a few thousand from him, my pound does not make headlines ,i prefer it that way, many very generous wealthy folks who donate prefer it that way to.

Good signing imo, not sure he’ll get in the side when Lofty is fit though.

Probably more likely than a new stadium.

Where do you get this nonsense from? He’s arrogant as a footballer because he’s one of the best in the world, it’s a winning mentality. But off the pitch he’s not horrible or selfish in the slightest. Would not upset the dressing room as they would ALL love to spend just 5 minutes with him to see how one of the greatest to do it ticks, him being there every week would be invaluable. Would also be daft to say no to JCH. Easily scores 25 in this league with the right team around him.

It’s a lot easier to write about how Ronaldo is a spoilt brat than it is to mention all the good that he does. Has a winning mentality when it comes to football which is taken as arrogance from people who know no better.

No argument intended 👍🏾

AFC Crewe -not Crewe Alex - have offered him £35 a week to sign for them.Massive publicity has resulted so great scoop but their regular number seven isn't willing to give up his shirt it seems which may be a stumbling block!!!!
