So what proof do you actually have of Starmer having a social? There’s a dodgy photo through a window that has been proven to be taken during the time he was doing some sort of webcast. Boris has photos, screenshots & videos of toasting, drinking alcohol & hosting Christmas parties - and you think he only had a cuppa? You know exactly what is meant by that last sentence. Let me guess, do you presume to believe that Starmer refused to prosecute Jimmy Saville? He certainly looked hard at work doing a "webcast" whilst drinking a bottle of beer and eating a curry. Didn't he also at the same time pose holding up a non league football Jersey having taken time out to discuss the non league club who interrupted his...."webcast" In respect of your last sentence it was under his watch that Saville wasn't prosecuted along with not prosecuting the police officer who killed Ian Tomlinson and taking the decision not to prosecute anyone over the killing of Jean Charles de Menezes so yes I blame him in the same way people have blamed boris on various things because it was under his watch. Is there any political circumstance in which you wouldn’t blindly fly the Tory flag ? • It will be possible to detain people for 28 days without bail or judicial review
• The onus to remove those who enter illegally will be on the home secretary - to "radically" narrow the number of challenges and appeals
• Only those under 18, those medically unfit to fly or at "real risk" if they are returned to the country they have left will be able to lodge an appeal to stop them from being deported
• Any other claims will be heard remotely after they have been removed
• People will be prevented from using modern slavery laws to oppose the government
• An annual cap on the number of people entering via safe routes - to be set by parliament - will "ensure an orderly system"

For the 11,000 Albanians who crossed the channel last year illegally, in small boats, I would have thought a €45 Easyjet flight from Tirana would be a safer route. (And a hell of a lot cheaper). |
