That's a false flag. It's not about trust, it's about reality. G1981 stated that Dwane Sports could only sell the Mem under certain conditions, conditions laid down in a covenant. Three of us have looked at the Land Registry entry and can find no such condition or covenant (as described). This is the reality. You've simply found something else to scaremonger about when 99.99% of the fan couldn't careless about this issue, most of us are more worried about staying in L1 than the Mem ever being sold for development. Of course, but not scaremongering, just stating a fact in rebuttal to G1981. Facts eh, perhaps that's how we might win a game, rather than hubris and bravado.

If it was in the agreement of sale why would it be registered on the Land Registry, Higgs suggested it was so we either accept it was or accuse him of lying, regardless it won't change the fact there's zero signs of Wael selling the ground for redevelopment.

It's ok, you can step off the pin head now.

I thought that it was part of the planning permission, that Sainsbury's could not start work on the site until the new ground was ready for Rovers to move into.

I think that's an unfair comment. I am one of those who focuses primarily on the football side of things, however I do think that it's better to have an accurate position of where we stand regarding The Mem, and one of the myths has now been dispelled

Perhaps the covenant was water tight.

A few on here yearn for the return of those great times under Higgs when we were financially stable and the football was great. They won’t call him a liar !!
