25 th April 2015-8 years ago today- we broke the Conference attendance record v Alfreton so hope the new stand puts us over that total although no doubt Notts C and Wrexham have broken that by now.

Notts County broke the attendance record a couple of seasons back. From memory they have had two 16,000+ crowds this season, though with a 20,000 capacity they have the ability to do regular offers. £5 entry fee and kids for a quod help, especially when the team is doing well.

If the decision involves those left wing Rovers hating twots from Protest Central in the guise of BCC then the decision has its always been during the past 80 years is absolutely no chance. Looking around Home Park last night thinking if only we had the same level support has PAFC have been given with open arms from PCC.

Don’t think bcc have ever been an issue? Don’t think Rose ever won either from memory wasn’t it just that there wasn’t any finance in place when it came down to it?

How many planning applications from Rovers have been turned down by BCC? Clue: the answer is an integer smaller than 1.

Looking around Home Park last night thinking if only we had the same level support has PAFC have been given with open arms from PCC. I've always wondered why we never got a new stadium. I thought at various times it was the greyhound company, Sainsbury's, UWE, the owners, the chairmen, the poor managers, the dodgy players or the world banking collapse. Now I know it's due to left wing councillors in Bristol. All this time!!

Just look to Wrexham to see how a football club benefits from being a one club city, it sounds like their local (labour!) council is funding most of the cost of their new stand. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-65313484.amp

I think it probably is. Should we prepare to be underwhelmed?

It’s a temp stand , it’s probably not going to be too flash. However it allows us to get more punters in, and when we move to the Fruitihad we sell it. Actually we could move the old South Stand to the training ground for Reserves / ladies teams.

First the amount of national headlines they got for getting promoted out of non league was ridiculous. Secondly they have multimillion pound owners why the f**k is the tax payer fitting the bill for most of their new stand. 🤬. I'm probably just jealous but still doesn't sit right with me that.
