With just ten weeks to go things are hotting up in the race for the prem title as EASTVILLE who has been top for virtually the whole season & at one stage even held a 43 point lead has seen it cut now to just seven points as GGMI continues to close in... can he hold on ? ALLGAS&GAITERS top scores this week with a brilliant 28 points inc 4 maximums to go joint third.  MEADGAS was second with 25 & 3. O2O2BO2BA was third with 21 & 2. |

Allgasandgaiters has given himself an outside chance of the title despite looking like having no chance before the weekend. 1 result can make a big difference. I had York vs Yeovil down for 1-1 and Eastville had 2-0. A last minute winner for York to make it 2-1 meant a 6 point swing, otherwise there would be 1 point in it. Anyway progression made and the title race is ON. I look forward to the run in. |

But well done you deserve it 👏 If you think there is something wrong with the scoring system then maybe speak to Russ but I find it quite offensive as he puts a lot of effort into it. It's a prediction league so you make predictions, I think Russ tends to pick fairly close games a lot of the time but not always hence going for draws. Don't even know why I'm justifying this to you. |

Don’t really get the beef with GGMI over this. I’m sure a lot of us have our different systems or preferences. If you could storm away with the league by predicting 1-1 for every game then we wouldn’t have a game! GGMI has done quite well over the years but he hasn’t dominated the whole game. Its hard predicting scores weekly. There is a lot of luck involved and it is also a test of endurance and memory! (well for me, anyway!). It’s also curiously addictive and a lot of us get on board with it, which is great  |

I'm actually really pleased with my progress I don't have a system I just go with my gut sometimes your lucky other times not so I'm currently mid table which isn't to bad considering I've missed 2 weeks at the start so if I can finish mid to top half of the table I will be happy with that |
