I’ve only looked at a kit for a 5 year old as that’s how old my son is! For clarity you don’t get a kit for £38, just the shirt. You have to buy the shorts separately for an extra £22. So we are more expensive than Arsenal and Man United and Arsenal even chuck in a pair of socks too! Interesting,my guess is they can afford to reduce the kit prices due to the massive income streams from elsewhere,where not in that position so it's not a level playing field. |

I guess the problem is we don’t have an under 6 package like the prem clubs do as was pointed out down in the thread. But for the older kids it seems we’re priced a fair bit below |

It’s a football kit not a school uniform. My parents couldn’t afford to buy me new kits or the best branded boots etc but guess what - I survived !

Comparing our kit prices with the likes of Man U or England isn't comparing apples with apples. Adidas pay Man U £75m every season for providing their kit, with shirts sold all over the world.
A fairer comparison would be with other EFL teams, a quick look at next week's opponents for example show that Pompey's junior kits start at £58 for shirt and shorts. I agree that these prices are too expensive but to suggest Rovers are ripping anyone off is a bit wide of the mark tbh.

Regardless a replica kit is not like buying a pint of milk or a litre of fuel, if a parent feels they are being ripped off then they don't have to buy the kit, just get them a replica shirt and a pair of non replica shorts from Sport Direct, I'm sure they'll survive a season without the full replica kit, I've managed to get this far without my parents buying me the full kit. |

Long queues for the new kit two hours before kick off.
Like last year the shirts for younger fans selling especially well.
The tension, drama and suspense of the kit build up may be pressing magic money buttons.

I could never like a shirt with a solid blue back. It's just wrong on all levels and looks weird from the side view. Just stick black numbers on. Easy.
That apart.....it's ok I think. The blue and white only badge is growing on me.
