Don't mess with the quarters! I actually think something a bit different would go down quite well. Imagine we dropped the standard issue blue & white quarters for a season and went for something similar, but ultimately different. It might prove a popular one-off .. and the season after we go back to quarters and the sales will be off the charts.... Popular with some perhaps. But I think it would go down like a lead balloon with the rest. I don’t mind a different take on the quarters (like a few years back). Ditch it altogether and I’m not buying it and I won’t be happy with the club management off the field.

Exactly 😉 Since they’ve bought it back we’ve tended to have sh** seasons as well. At least it has been at times this season, after GC left and the least said about the squad Garner put together the better.

I first watched Rovers in The Quarters early in 1962. Then we went Blue and white vertical stripes later that year. We went to plain blue next - all awful. 1973 was a great year, got married at the end of June and we went back to The Quarters a month or so later.
I know it’s about money raised by selling replica shirts but please stop messing with The Quarters.
The keenest fans buy the away shirts first (I suspect?) and I look forward to seeing the away designs (of which I have many). Pete does a great job in the shop along with a usually smiling bunch. Keep it up and keep coming up with ideas for hats, gloves, scarves, phone cases, etc etc but leave The Quarters alone please.

I doubt very much the new kit will dispense with the quarters but looking forward to it being 'messed with' for a season or so. I'm all for the retro inspired kits but can they can all get a bit samey after a while so be good to see a fresh interpretation of the quarters. Quite like the idea of the 'sketch' marks of the Palace kit, another good one this season is the Burnley shirt, can see that working with smaller overlaid squares of a different shade of blue perhaps. And then the following season it'll be another retro based kit to keep the traditionalists happy.

Well each to their own but that looks to me like one of the 90s monstrosities where random cool squiggles were splashed across shirts, just because they could.

It’s certainly one of their throwback shirts, 1993 or so. That retro effort is a thing of absolute beauty😍😍

I think that looks very smart. Can we have this kit next season?. And the stand in the background in the South Stand.

Not sure they'd buy one just because the the they'd put pinstripes in the quarters, probably the club being successful on the pitch boosts sales far more than a complete redesign of the shirt ever does.

Buy one plain Gas home shirt, you’ve bought them all. A change up in the design of the quarters is always a good thing, IMO.

A change never seems to go down well with the fan base generally and the club usually then reverts back to plain quarters the following season. The Tesco back and the one I gave a link to earlier are probably the worse two home shirts since the club reverted back to wearing the quarters.

The quarters in my Humble opinion should stay solid blue and white, the Tesco carrier bag was absolutely abysmal and just didn't look right. I do not wish us to go back to solid plain blue either. And has for an away strip' if we don't go for Quarters then why not try of of our very own 1920's black and white stripes, white shorts with black/white stockings!
Just a thought
