1 Every time I read about King Charles III, I wonder if he's ill or Third.
2 Totally unnecessary extra Bank Holiday which we will moan about but everyone will enjoy.
3 Desperate attempt to recreate the street parties of the past will fizzle out and simply not happen. Monarchy adoration maybe died along with the Queen.
4 Charles will not enjoy his place in the spotlight or indeed his whole tenure. If he could abdicate later this year I'm sure he'd love to do it, and hand over to William who appears to be ready, as any young hereditary toff with ££££ms of the peasants' money might be. But he can't because they have to pretend serving as the monarch is a duty and an honour, trusted to them by the lords of old, and now, frankly, any old scumbag on the streets, like me.

The whole charade is a manufactured farce. Laughable in the 21st century and within the context of the reality of life in the UK.

Really looking forward to it. Will be travelling to London with the family for a few days to enjoy the event and the vibe.
Although the Queens funeral was a sombre affair, the togetherness around Westminster and supporting venues was superb to be a part of.
I am fully aware that apart from a few posters, it will degenerate into a Royal Family, anti monarchy collaboration. So with that in mind, farewell.👋

Some will love it, some will hate it, most will just go "Meh" but enjoy the day in their own way.
Me? It's a day I'll have the wife home reminding me what I've not done. 🫣

At a wedding the first thing the bride sees is the aisle, then the altar and then you. That's what she thinks, "I'll alter you". 😃
