Anyone know how they are getting on at Hungerford?

Ryan Jones was MOTM in Hungerford’s last match as they lost 4-3 to Tonbridge.

And now RJ. Give him a chance! Interesting to hear how Jennings has been really good to deal with. Any confirmation of whether he is still at the club or should that rumour be dismissed?

It seems that unless they win every game Hungerford are down.
I think they are playing Taunton in the last chance saloon tomorrow.
I guess if Grant is fit he may feature in the last few games and Balcombe is now returning from injury, but I hope Ward, Jones and Lawrence get a few minutes towards the end of the season, maybe even next year's pro intake (Sessay and Lainglas have featured in first team squads before - but not sure if they are being taken on).
Maybe Whelan may get a 5 minute cameo v Bolton, but personally, I would prefer if he played 30 mins in the Marcus Stewart game the week after, so we can all show him appreciation then.
I still think it might be sensible to register him as a player next season, just in case of an away game pre match illness or injury, so he can be a spare to go on the bench.
If we were leading by a goal with 5 mins to go and someone gets injured, I'm sure he could come on and do a job, if only getting players not to sit too deep and giving the younger players the confidence not to panic.

Although I said it at the time, with hindsight, I still think it would have been a good opportunity to play some of the youngsters in the last games. It's not as though we would have actually lost any points anyway? If Jones came on for Whelan in the last game, rather than Macca, I would have imagined it would have given him a huge boost to make his league debut in front of a large crowd at home. Not sure what those 30 seconds really did for Macca's career? Oh well, good luck to the youngsters.

An important year for them both and their future gas careers. A mixture of squad involvement and loans to at least National League but preferably League 2 which would show that they're ready to be full-time squad members!
