Belshaw 7 nothing to do bar a good punched clearance and a good bit of sweeping up.
Hoole 9 m.o.m. a superb game and arguably his best ever in the quarters,I can see a big
money exit in the near future.
Connolly 7 a good steady game with only one blemish which fortunately wasn't costly.
Gibson 8.5 a commanding performance,vocal and leading by example,I hope he's on Joeys shopping list in the summer.
Gordon 8 a lively game, much improved and is learning that continual back passing isn't mandatory
Bogarde 7 a quiet first half, much more effective after the break.
Ward 8 his usual hard working game.,the glue the binds the midfield in place,
Evans 7 decent game,not his favourite position,but produced a great save from the Charlton keeper plus other good
bits and pieces.
Finley 6 out of sorts and ring rusty but his energy and commitment to the cause cant be faulted.
Sinclair 6.5 some nice touches but generally a quiet game.
Coburn 7 he did his job playing the lone roll and chasing down everything .
Subs: Collins 6.5 ok but was the sacrificial lamb in order to win the game.
Loft 7 the tiring Charlton were kept busy with the ever-willing Lofty who chased everything that moved
Marquis 8 a quality cameo topped with a well taken penalty.
Ref 8 a good no nonsense game , he didn't seek to be the star of the show,all the league one refs should be sent a video
of the game with instructions on how to ref a game sensibly
Charlton 6.5 a Garner assembled team,possession-based that had plenty of the ball but couldn't do much with it
