Hoole 8- Some sublime moments of skill. We'll be lucky to keep hold of him at this rate.
Connolly- 6- Spent a lot of time in possession looking for options.
Gibson 7.5- Rock solid. Really hope we can keep him.
Gordon 7.5- A constant source of energy and enterprise going forward.

Ward 8- So good. One or two errors but many more positives.
Bogarde 8.5- MOM. His best game yet. Really imposed himself on the game.
Finley 5- energetic but a few too many errors.

Anderson 5- Not much of a contribution.
Collins 6- Curate's egg
Sinclair 7- Full of running, a constant to threat.

Subs: Loft 6- That chance!
Coburn 6- 6- A big lad.
Evans 7- Good penalty.
McCormick 5- Anonymous
Marquis 6.5- (Includes 1 extra for the celebration.)

Ref 6 -Not bad.
Derby 5- Disappointing.

Belshaw 7.5 - his outfield ball control was something that Finley can only dream about


Hoole 7.5 - another very strong game
Connolly 6.5 - getting his confidence back
Gibson 7 - a steady influence
Gordon 6.5 - good performance against good opponents


Ward 8 - makes the team tick over
Bogarde 7.5 - a few sloppy moments but glides over the ground like a thorough bred. Deceptively quick
Finley 4 - marks for the ground that he covered but his ball control and distribution not what you expect from a professional footballer


Anderson 3.5 - not yet up to speed. The minutes will have done him good
Collins 5 - only glimpses of his true ability
Sinclair 6 - end product lacking

Belshaw 7.5 not much to do but almost got caught near post, regulation match.

Hoole 8.5 m o m look how far he's come since the away match at Derby.
Connolly 5 weak link.
Gibson 8 Collins who? Pocket springs to mind! Captain in waiting.
Gordon 8 excellent movement inside and out and produced genuine threat. Defended and covered admirably.

Ward 8 excellent shoring up midfield. Try crossing instead of shooting next time for goal...!
Bogarde 8.5 near m o m as his dribbling and tracking back make him integral part of mid play.
Finley 6 too many misplaced passes.

Anderson 7 nice to see him back but really should have scored.
Collins 5 looking like a shadow.
Sinclair 8 constant threat and linked up so well with LH.

Subs: Loft 7.5 affected change and with a little composure, would have scored instead of hitting bar.
Coburn 7 again manhandled and even though it was warm in the sun, I'm sure he didn't need any help getting his shirt off...but defenders do insist.
Evans 7.5 well executed penalty he earned himself.
McCormick 5 first touch was a foul, I fear for his future as offered nothing.
Marquis 7.5 wily old soul!

Ref 8 well done for booking time wasting but couldn't do much about feigned goalkeeper injuries.
Derby 5 disappointed.
They started well with ruthless finish and concise passing, but as time went on we grew into the match. We played them off park and if we could have taken one of the many chances presented, would have deservedly won the match.

If they resort to time wasting on 47 mins, it says something about us, but if you watch any of the vlogs on YouTube or were there, you know whom played the better football and came out of the match with more satisfying stats.

Well done JAB and management players and us fans for all the unity shown yesterday, we competed against credible promotion chasing opponents..

I don’t understand the ref poor rating? We have had some terrible refs this season. Ref realised in 2nd half what was going on and was very good booking their players. Did not make many mistakes? Took guts to give that penalty so late?
