I think we’ve defended well against a decent forward line and these aren’t afraid to put 4 players up against our back 4. We’ve been much more aggressive in our defending than we certainly were in the first half at Plymouth and we’ve kept a good line to catch them off on quite a few occasions. A couple of issues I think are that the forwards aren’t getting hold of it enough, also when any of our defence win a header or nick it off their toes then a Peterborough player seems to be first to the second wall, I think Bogarde needs to drop a bit deeper to try and pick those up. We’ve also missed a few opportunities to get it wide as well when we’ve been free down the right.

I'm happy with what I've seen from Belshaw this season to keep him with us next season. I understand playing your fringe/young players But I don't understand playing the loan players Especially Balcombe, but we'll see I guess! Good luck against JCH, Quansah 😂 UTG! Given today's game is a fairly meaningless one then I can't see there's any issues giving Balcombe a game to thank him for helping us out this season. The way things are going he may help us win a decent point or three. |
