Ha ha. So true. I went to Gloucester City Vs Chorley, National North. My first time there even though it's the closest team to me at a reasonable level. Both had to win to make the playoffs. After Gloucester went one up with a good goal Chorley overwhelmed the Gloucester defence with there pressing and speed. Early into 2nd half Chorley were winning 2-1. On 70 minutes I was wandering around to the club house to get a beer. Chorley scored again so I changed my mind and shoved off. Got back and Gloucester won 4-3!!. That will teach me. Four goals, is that more than Rovers have scored since January? Frome Collegians finished three one to them, player sent off, shocking ref, shocking tackles, loved it, oh and a pint sat on a park bench each half while watching in the sun. Lovely! Do they do sausage rolls ? |

You are right, Bolton, Weds, Barnsley, Prob Derby, it does look scary but we must not lose sight of the fact we base that on there past , they are where they are because it's the level they have performed to over recent seasons and we have given all of them a decent game this season so yes off field they are miles ahead of us but on field in name only. |

Don’t rule out Bradford in the league 2 shake up Midweek game at Crewe so could still reach 81 and +19 goal difference same as Cobblers. Will they f**k up again on the last game of the season 😂 At other end of table gotta feel for Geoff Stelling , his last season on the Sky show and he has to confirm his beloved Hartlepool's return to the National league, one of us is Geoff, proper football fan ,will never forget his 'there's been a goal at the Memorial Stadium' and 'Northampton fans look away now!, he could well be repeating that last line next week! good luck Geoff, absolute legend! |

That really was an excellent point yesterday, for me one of the best performances of the season. That Posh team has some brilliant players for this level, I could see them winning the play offs if they manage to sneak in? Gibbons had his best game in a rovers shirt, he covered the whole of the back line, MOM for me considering the players he was up against, really impressed. Gibson supurb, Gordon again, one of his best performances. Loft made some good chances and really gave thier back line a nervy afternoon. Play like that in the last couple of games, no reason why we can't win both. UTG.

You are right, Bolton, Weds, Barnsley, Prob Derby, it does look scary but we must not lose sight of the fact we base that on there past , they are where they are because it's the level they have performed to over recent seasons and we have given all of them a decent game this season so yes off field they are miles ahead of us but on field in name only. Very true mate. However it does grind my gears that these big boys can “experience financial difficulties “ I.e bend the rules, get relegated, then spend on a decent squad. Higher gates are a factor of course. Couple that with big spenders coming up, Wrexham in two years probably, and we are swimming uphill by playing fair. |

On Saturday I admit too wanting our own keeper to be yellow carded such was the frustration of far too often watching games of 75minutes rather than 90 due to similar goalkeeping time wasting. In fairness if I was a posh fan I would be shouting at the ref when 5mins extra time was shown. i couldn’t understand it, so hat if we lost as long as we played attractive football not Feigning injury falling on the ball, looking the opposite way at every throw in. Absolutely rubbish that Joey should avoid. Yes we need to have better game management when we are winning and seeing out a game but not the nonsense we displayed on Saturday. Hopefully the FA will sort out the issue by directing refs to crack down from the start of games. |
