Reading the article I’m guessing that Buckle and Huddersfield’s new American owners have links through his time managing Sacramento Republic in the U.S.

I was just thinking, what do you call a person from Huddersfield? The most arrogant Manager I’ve ever had the displeasure of watching, up there with Steve Evans. I could coin a phrase based on my one and only visit up there in the early noughties I think it was. Not a friendly bunch! |

You'd have thought being a CEO would require some business knowledge not just being a former employee of the new owners, whilst he was a useless coach in England being appointed DoF would make more sense. Given it seems Buckle felt out with everybody at Rovers then I assume Warnock will now soon be departing.
