This post, maybe thread is here to celebrate and recognise the unsung hero of other Gas left footers (such as Mickey Barrett), or handers (such as Lee Haskins), or wingers (Marvin Reece) that helped make history happen and recognise strength in diversity.
For where would Lee Brown be without his left foot?
(Arguably playing in BG 's relegation team, maybe?)
Lee Brown celebrated that fateful day in 2016 with the full weight bearing support of his left leg and foot which was previously much used in assists, penalties and finishes.
Like all minority discriminatory context, this is wholly forgotten in favour of populous and fashion, as his right foot got all the credit!
Raise a glass of happy memories (using your left appendage!) to the inclusivity of leftness day, everyone, (including amputees and thalidomides).. and what a celebration that possibly I've never seen scenes like it (except possibly the fairytale of 7-0)?
