He is ours, yeah?
Captain next season for me. He's consistently reliable and never lets us down.
Couttsy is finished for us (top man) as is the very great Glenn Whelan and little Sammy needs to take a chill pill or two.

Yep been impressed by him and has gone under the radar a bit , tidy player nothing flashy but does the basics right ,breaks the play up and keeps midfield ticking over !

Hope heâs the first contract extension announced. Finley is done for me. Rossiter if fit would be great.

Those two are a playoff challenging midfield partnership ( 5-10th place) imo . Need a bloody good defence and a 30 goal strike partnership to be able to challenge for the playoffs alongside.

You certainly need good defence and goalkeeper.
Having a prolific strikeforce, not so much. Plymouth have proved that this year, won the league with 101 points yet their top scorer was Ryan Hardie with 13.
Having goals throughout the team is more important, Midfielders, wide players getting into near double figures etc

Yep, will need Finley and hopefully both Grant and McCormick will get full preseasons and come back to the form we know theyâve got in the locker. We will probably also get a bit more of a look at Lawrence too.

Surprised none of the youngsters even made the bench in our last 2 games, you do have to wonder if any of them have a future at Rovers apart from Ward.

Players like Finley, McCormick, Connolly maybe even Belly who are all still in contract are absolutely good enough to be part of a play off chasing squad. But they will all (unless they significantly improve) be cover for what we hopefully bring in.
I just hope Joey doesnât publicly tell them to âfind a new clubâ then we end up once more in limbo as we continue to pay their contracts! Loft another that could fit this role.
*plus Hazza Anderson if he proves his fitness to get a contract but expect him to be snapped up before then. Shame. Really like him

Really like him Anderson has played 96 minutes this season, whether he's a decent L1 player or not when fit, I'd sooner we spent his wages in someone who, hopefully, will remain fit for most of the season. As far as Loft if JB can't be better this summer perhaps he really does need to give up and play golf.

View AttachmentDid you mean Grant rather than Gibbons as he seems to have been fit for most of the season, apart from when he bust his foot(?), whether he's good enough is a different matter.
