In case it was missed under the Marcus Stewart thread, any programme and 50/50s (or raffle equivalent) bought from the usual programme sellers on Saturday, will be cash only.
The method of payment and format of any draw/raffle have been chosen by the charity.
However, card sales will be available from the SC match day shop.
There will also be a bucket collection and Darby Rimmer wristbands for sale.
No doubt any food, drink or FC merchandise will be card only, so best bring both methods of payment.

Looking forward to it too. Hopefully it will be a good turnout.
I suppose the note about charity deciding the format for the draw explains the Elliot Anderson shirt/ Southmead Hospital draw.

Anyone tell me if any other things are going on or is it just the game itself?

Would hope some of the current squad are in attendance to show support and sign autographs and have selfies.
The club shop should make a decent amount and people should have more time to browse rather than the usual match day. Hopefully there are a few end of season reductions.
Then there are the play off games to watch in the bar. Personally Chesterfield v Notts Co should be interesting but would feel sorry for Co if they don't make it after such an amazing season. Then again they know the rules, so it is a real winner takes all cup final.
HTV mentioned the game and said Giggs was playing amongst a list of others. Bring your autograph book! (Oh and cash and cards!)
I hope plenty of Gas come along to support the charity, a Rovers legend - the best player of the entire Twerton period and then the chance to see the tentless end in person - its like going back in time!
If TG or Wael are there, I'm sure they can answer questions (if they are able) in a more relaxed atmosphere.
UTDR! (Doesn't have the same ring to it though!)

Amazed in 2023, almost 2024, how common it is to have issue with payment systems. I’d be having a stern word with payment vendors.

Hard working, great at customer service, willing to do jobs the locals won't for pay levels the locals wouldn't accept, but made to feel unwelcome because of some vote a few years back.

I blame the employer recruiting system that drills everything down to the miserly last penny.
And keeps it there. No pay rises for 20 years.
A lot of industry and business hasn't been bothered to invest in local young talent - it's easier to employ immigrants for cheaper. An example was the stewarding at Mem a few years ago, where quality was sacrificed for quantity.
If it's perfectly acceptable for companies to recruit diversity into their workforce, it should be across the board and recruit indigenous UK locals too.
I work with many immigrants and none of them feel unwelcome, or they wouldn't be here. They do the same job alongside UK workers and are just as proud as I am in my position.
The club should allow for cash payments as well as card/mob. It only has itself to blame.

Or students that have hone home for Xmas. Do all clubs suffer or is it just at Rovers? Didn't see this as an excuse at any of the other grounds I've been to over the last 8 years? Perhaps the reason the tills are down and the queues are shambolic, is because Rovers are a poor employer with antiquated systems and poor organisation? Or was it eally amazing before the Brexit vote?

In fact there's an increasing number year on year. Taxi drivers, deliveroo riders, fitness instructors, warehouse ops, cafes and bars. No doubt some left but it's up to our club and our country to employee people by paying properly and providing a good place to work.
