Glad all went well, With ref to Jill Scot i was so pleased she got a medal when England won the Euro, she was an unsung hero of the women's game for many years IMHO and it was great to see her rewarded for her contribution over the years, seems like yesterday i saw Ellis make his debut, not sure if it was his debut but well remember him as a youngster cutting in from the left and planting one in the top corner from distance, bringing the Mem to its feet, and a fresh faced youngster at Wembley getting to the edge of the area before smacking one which looked a goal all the way until the cross bar intervened, now what was his name, ah Marcus Stewart, so many great memories of Marcus, good luck1

Did anyone notice that DC managed to con the ref into allowing 13 players on the pitch

Some wonderful pics on the club's main site.Manse and Browner to whom I owe a great deal of gratitude for their last second contributions at Wembley and the Mem.

Did Taylor not turn up today? A mate of mine tells me he refused to take part having been named as a player. Was up in the corporate chatting to an ex gas player who is mates with Taylor, who said Taylor didn’t play as he didn’t want it to overshadow the game/day and cause a scene etc. Fair enough really as no doubt would’ve got some sh-t from some people. Fair enough. I suppose the fact he has been released from Oxford might factor too? He wouldn't want to risk injury while he is looking for a new club (unlikely in a charity match, I suppose, but possible!)
