Grimsby fan here. I am looking for the BT Sport footage (full game) from our playoff final in digital format if anyone has a copy please?

I did actually search for this going back a while (trying to see the Puddy handball incident where everyone around us went ffs he’s off) but could not find it so never got the chance then or since to have another look.Please post if anyone has any evidence.

Everyone’s after the same thing it seems. Other than both goals, the odd chance at each end and the pens I’ve never seen that game back since witnessing it with my own (drunken) eyes.
The Puddy handball/foul whatever it was I’ve always wanted to see, make my own judgement etc..as I was leathered on spirits at the time😄

Bumped into Grimsby fans on a train the following season. They were adamant they deserved to win the game - difficult to disagree, but thought we deserved promotion if you take into account the whole season. Would also like to see the Puddy incident - looked like a sending off at the time.

The Double DVD is called Rovers Return, it shows the full match, extra time, penalties and post match celebrations.
Not one i watch very often prefer watching the Shrews game and our second promotion with DC.
Wish there was one of last season.

I had it recorded on my vBox for a while... unfortunately I hadn't accounted for extra time and pens - so I didn't get the full thing, which was most frustrating as obviously the best part was the end!
It was repeated on BT Sport, but only the highlights - so not the full post-match reaction and celebration, presentation etc. A shame.

Must have been a shock to the fishys to be relegated back to the Conference so soon after their return, but was glad to them back after just one season and having had a solid season in L2. I look out for their results still and for some reason feel an affinity with them after that epic Wembley day in 2015 with two great sets of fans.

I have long had a habit of missing goals when i need to use the loo. I went to the loo and we scored 😂. I came back to a round of applause and was asked, throughout the game, if i needed to go, again ! |

I recall the landlord coming on here (or the older forum) asking us what would be the favoured beverage on the day. Fair play they must’ve spent a fortune on thatchers & made a hell of a lot more in return! |

Paddy was outside his box as we were sat in line with the edge of the box, only he can explain why he did that on the day.
With it being so early in the game I think the ref bottled the decision, thankfully!
