Tom has signed for my local team Havant and Waterlooville in the National League South. He'll be making an appearance at Twerton Park then, will keep an eye on Bath City's fixtures. |

Tom Mehew initially joined Chippenham Town in the 2021/22 season on loan from Bristol Rovers, after helping the Bluebirds to their highest ever finish of 7th he penned permanent terms for the 2022/23 season after his release from Rovers.
Former clubs: Bristol Rovers, Swindon Supermarine (loan), Bath City (loan)

At least some people found it interesting.... Was only messing mate, fair play to Tom, from the little I saw of him he looked no worse than the 500 young players Garner brought in that meant he didn't really get any game time. Is Olly Mehew (his brother) still knocking around the lower leagues? |

I don't think many people realize how difficult it is to get back into the league after being released at a young age.
Finley was plying his trade at lower league level for years.
I would expect a few of our former youngsters to move to Aldershot due to Widdrington.
I would not be surprised if Phillips gets back into the league though.
During the development squad period we bought a few players with decent fees Kavanagh, Jones, Meyanese to name a few. We probably got the same sort of money for Rollin, but unless they get chances to play, it is going to be extremely hard to break through.
Hoole took his opportunity in pre season due to injuries to others and transfer targets taking their time to accept offers. Now it's up to Ward (J), Lawrence and Jones to do the same.
