A third MP stands down. Three by election defeats would add pressure on Rishi Sunak. Almost as if Boris intends to be a thorn in Sunak's side. 🤔 At the very moment that Labour had change a key policy strategy on green energy the Tories bail them out with this fiasco.

Yep, it's becoming even more difficult for the Conservatives. Still time, but it's going to be a long year or so. Also looks like I'm not the only one who thinks there is something afoot. "Resignations 'look like coordinated attempt to damage Sunak government' - former No 10 chief of staff Gavin Barwell, a former Number 10 chief of staff, has said the three resignations in the last 24 hours look like a "coordinated attempt" to damage Rishi Sunak's government. He said: "Had Boris been the only MP to resign, a comeback post-election might have been possible. "But this is now looking like a coordinated attempt to damage the Sunak government - and therefore the prospects of Conservative candidates at the next election. "Bridges well and truly burnt." "

Who said Brexit was done and time to move on? Some want to keep the animosity going, and not just those against it. "Reds under the bed" has morphed. Not sure Bernard Jenkin fits this criteria.

Not that we should take him seriously as he’s obviously a wind up merchant but a bit too dim to remember what he’s posted previously 😂

It's Boris so that's okay. 🙄 "Former ministers are meant to apply to the Advisory Committee on Business Appointments (Acoba) before taking up a new appointment or role for up to two years after leaving government. An Acoba spokesperson said: "The Ministerial Code states that ministers must ensure that no new appointments are announced, or taken up, before the committee has been able to provide its advice. "An application received 30 mins before an appointment is announced is a clear breach." news.sky.com/story/boris-johnson-in-clear-breach-of-rules-after-daily-mail-job-announced-says-mp-watchdog-12903648

Just think of all the Mail readers frothing at the mouth as they read his version of the latest acts of treachery and the betrayal of Brexit.
