I see Louis Thompson the Pompey player who broke his leg against us in August at Fratton has joined his brother at Stevenage. Hate to say it but Stevenage are putting a decent squad together and may not struggle as much as I thought. Btw glad to see the lad recover from his leg break. Looks like Stevenage are definitely getting their work done early. UTG! Considerable risk in some of that though, Thompson out for a year and Anderson not exactly filled with games. If Stevenage struggle early on can see these going missing |

To be fair to Pirate I'd imagine he wouldn't disappear out of the country just as the window opens, no wonder we've had no transfer news when EJ's probably been spending all his time planning his wedding. Maybe they are gonna surprise on Monday with 5 signings introduce at the return to training! Hence Wael cheeky insta post. You just never know with him, I think he likes to surprise and even shock. |

Jennings off on honeymoon now ? Hopefully Uncle Tom Gorringe is dealing with any potential new signing negotiations. Probably laughing at us when Luke Thomas, Lewis Gibson, Connor Taylor and on loan Mateusz Musialowski polish Messi, rock up Monday. 😂🏴☠️ Hopefully he will be at the Quarters on Thursday with some positive update. |

Last week they completed the permanent signing of the GK Taye Ashby-Hammond too following a successful loan from Fulham last season when he kept 13 clean sheets in 29 games conceding only 22 goals and helping club into the Fourth Round of the FA Cup. Previous to that during an impressive loan at Boreham Wood in 21/22 he kept 16 clean sheets from 30 appearances conceding only 22 goals in the process and was a big part in Boreham Wood's impressive run to the Fifth Round of the FA Cup. Impressive early business from Steve Evans and Stevenage so far. |

It is frustrating but everyone needs to relax a bit - just because the club don’t do their business in public doesn’t mean things are not happening in the background. Hopefully a bit of patience will be rewarded and we’ll get a flurry of announcements soon! Not very imaginative and shows my lack of knowledge of the players in lower leagues but I’d love to see either Gibson or Taylor come in with Luke Thomas and Jamal Blackman. We’ve had a bit of try before you buy😁 |
