Bradley Dack released by Blackburn. What a signing he would be I’d worry he’d end up like Oztumer. Right player too late. Never understood the excitement some had at his signing which was based on performances against us many years before. He was clearly well past his best and had several underperforming seasons before joining us. |

Given the only other strikers signed that summer were Hanlon and Ayunga it's hardly surprising fans got a bit excited, Ozt turned out to be another duff signing by TW. |

To be fair Oztumer suffered badly with Covid during his spell at the Mem Quality player nonetheless Can only judge a player by their performances at the Gas and I’m afraid he was as crap as any other player signed by the Garnish man A tad unfair on Sam N? UTG! |

Don't think he was that good. Like McCormick this season, he seemed good in our relegation season because he was a thorn amongst roses. But don't think he contributed much to our promotion season and wasn't upset to see him go like some were. |

I can agree with that, except he was a rose among thorns, but he wasn’t ‘crap’ was he? 😉 👍 UTG! Ah crap, thanks for picking me up on that, of course meant rose amongst thorns!  And you got me on him not being crap if he is as described a rose amongst thorns  . There's always the odd exception to the rule and I still hold out hope for McCormick and whilst I didn't rate Grant in 2020-21 I think he was alright in the promotion season and I again hold out hope for him this coming season too. But by and large obviously that seasons cohort was... crap. |

Dexter Lembikisa was born in Filton and Alfie Pond is an outstanding young centre half Wolves signed from Exeter.
