I still think Tyreece John-Jules would be a decent option in a fluid front 3. 🤔 Going to Derby apparently. Another injury case though |

Happy Signing day everyone. Typically we always sign a player on a Friday and this is the last one before the window closes.
I think there's still alot of business to do but i dont think JB will be forced if its not value. We have a pretty big and decent squad so for me theres less panic. I think i'd like to see a few leave before anyone else comes in. In terms of a Striker yes because I dont think Loft and Marquis are amazing but they are capable and I know the players around them (Sincs, Thomas, Collins, Brown) a level up.
DMC - not fussed I think we have options in midfield that can do that role and even suspect one of the CBs can step into it

A little soundbite from JB on transfer goings on. Sounds like possibly one more addition if the opportunity arises but we're not desperate.
‘I think you never say never while that window is open, but I think we’ve done the major share of the recruitment.
‘This cycle there might be a little bit at the back end of it if a bit of value presents itself or we feel we can add a bit of quality certainly to one of the departments.
‘If not and the window closes tomorrow, I’ve got a really good group to select from, and we’ve got competition for places, driving training ground performance, which usually drives match-day performances and that’s what we’re looking for.’

gonna be difficult to even get on the bench if Wilson, Friend, Gibbons, Brown and the new RB are all ready for selection.
Need to see some move out I think - Loft, Gibbons, Jones and Lawrence with the last 3 on loan I think. Plus Belly probably.

My own concern is that with a bigger squad / more options for Barton is that his tendency to tinker too much will be too tempting. |
