Two posters deleted their accounts? I will miss holmes. Sad that he done that as his posts were reasoned and he always made his points with respect. Not sure who the other one is. UTG!

The amount of excuses people are making for him are embarrassing. The women weren’t on trial for hitting him. They weren’t on trial for the alleged racism. The bouncers weren’t on trial for the alleged encounter. JB was on trial for assault by beating and the only thing that matters are his actions. I assume most of you have daughters and would be absolutely fuming if a man spat and hit her in town regardless of her actions. Girls racist to man Man spits at lady Lady pulls his hair Man slaps lady for racist and pulling his hair. . Wind your Dam neck in were not all whiter as white as you. If my daughter was racist to a man in town and pulled his hair I'd have nothing to say of she was slapped. Were all saints on here arnt we these are

But perhaps you can seeing as nothing has been said. Nothing to do with totalitarianism or any other ism. You are completely able to express an opinion but perhaps not call someone else, with a different view, what you did. Unless you go around calling people that as a matter of course. And I’m not sure you understand irony. UTG!

It's not whinging Yatton. Just pointing out hypocrisy. Same as I did with Trump. Funnily enough it was on the George Floyd thread, where you were one of the most vocal virtue signallers. Funny that! [b Hilarious! You pretty much never posted again on that thread after you got your arse handed to you on a plate 🙄 😂 Yatton you've been exposed you absolute 💩 You're the scourge of society. Absolute pondlife of the highest order. Fake social justice warrior, virtue signalling coward. Calling people racists and bigots for no reason, while unnecessarily targeting and making swipes at a Black person for standing up to actual racism! Absolute vermin!

Perhaps he didn’t like the sneering, arrogant tone of being accused of having no morals for having “a different opinion”?

I’ve sat on this information a long time now but I think it’s become quite relevant, my former security company had the contract for Pam Pam night club between 2015 and 2019, most of the rovers players frequented the club on a regular basis ( where I also took a hands on roll as head doorman) as soon as JCH signed for the gas he came with his girlfriend every weekend and hired a private booth. never bothered anybody I might add. one night a drunk woman decided to join his table and refuse to move, JCH stepped towards her and without touching her received a punch in the mouth splitting his lips and causing fairly significant blood flow down his face, he pushed the woman to the floor fairly hard at which point she screamed assault 🙄 after viewing the cctv I personally found Johnson’s actions to be justified, the woman then attacked his girlfriend at which point he launched her away again causing her to fall. My team administered first aid to Jonson whilst the woman was completely unharmed and therefor removed from the venue for violent behaviour. As I stated, in my experience I felt the action taken by Jonson in this situation was justified. But with such a wide range of opinion shown on a matter such as the brown case I am curious to see how people will judge this situation
Since he’s not our player anymore I no longer feel the need to hush anymore lol

What isn’t acceptable is lashing out with intent to harm especially if it’s a blindsided attack or unnecessary hit, which in the case of Brown has proven to be. Of course we have no evidence from what you say to be able to judge thoroughly but it seems to be JCH was reasonable in his actions. All I will say about the brown case is that if it purely was a case of 6 of one and half a dozen of another, the police would have dealt with it most likely under section 5 public order and no more would have been said or made of it. The fact it’s been tested at CPS level and they have deemed it to be 1) a serious enough of offence 2) with strong enough evidence that it would result in a conviction 3) in the public interest to send it to magistrates says to me Brown is absolutely guilty and his actions were excessive regardless of any provocation.

I’m not necessarily suggesting suggestions between the two incidents don’t get my more, my intention is to see if everyone else can see the differences or will put them in the same category, just thought it would be interesting to see the opinions of the same people whether they be right or cast case their opinion over a fairly similar case with just a few details changed

It doesn't mean his actions should be without punishment either, which they haven't been, but surely you can understand his reaction? Otherwise it's just worthless pandering and fake gestures

I can understand totally becoming angry when subject to racism but to react in a way that provokes the authorities to prosecute is doubling down, is it not?

I’ve personally felt that when out with my bro in law, who also is Jamaican. Racism is repugnant, but cannot be used as an excuse for violence.

I don't really understand the attempts to victim blame the girls, seemingly encouraged by the club, when it was only Brown charged and found guilty of any offences.
