If I'm reading this nwq article on the OS correctly the club is issuing new season ticket cards - what could possibly go wrong! www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news/2023/june/axess-ticketmaster-partnership/"With the announcement of the new stand in the South section of the stadium, the club has taken the decision to issue new Season Tickets to all their fans for the 2023/24 season, and having the correct access control processes in place for this is key" "The Axess products will offer fans the choice of card, ticket, phone or using NFC-based “contactless” tickets"

Sounds good to me. Card or phone option. Proper access control company. Hopefully tested fully before the season kicks off

All I want is a pasty that doesn’t require an asbestos pallet to consume and a beer I don’t have to wait in line for 30mims for.
Yours sincerely
Mr Dinosaur

This is our beloved Bristol Rovers, might be advisable for fans to get the ground early the first time this new system is activated, remember last season.

The club also wish fans to enjoy an NFL experience ?
I am guessing .. Scantily clad younh Pom Pom girls wearing pirate outfits long ad breaks and warm beer served on the terraces and seats with hot dogs throughout the match.
What's not to like!

Yours sincerely Mr Dinosaur I have heard that you are not considered a true denzian of the North Terrace, unless you have consumed a product with internal ingredients three times temperature of the Sun. Rite of passage I am afraid. In all seriousness, it is standard practice to ensure that all products are heated to such a level all moisture and flavour is removed. The best one last season was a pasty of which the bottom of the paper bag has literally dried and burned to state it was decomposing pastry and brown flakes of burned paper. As I stared, incredulously the young lad serving asked me if I wanted to change it, I simply stated “Please, I just want to live…….”

This bit slightly worried me!
"It’s the first time that Axess will have taken on a stadium like this in the UK and their Head of International Stadia Business Unit, Christian Heidegger, is excited to see it unfold: “The UK is a large and established market for stadium access, but since the Covid-19 pandemic requirements have changed, and we are delighted to be taking our first digital steps with Bristol Rovers.”"
All said though, looks a positive development.

I bet it is the first time they’ve seen a stadium like this 😂😂😂

Ticketmaster are involved, it will be an abomination. The thing with Ticketmaster is we are small fry. I have been to a few large events and the e-ticketing works perfectly fine. Save ticket to you wallet. it gets scanned, you are let in.

Must be something between TM & BRFC as I recall a massive balls up and farcical situation with ticketing as far back as the ‘07 play off final.

Perhaps we are the common denominator not the provider.
