Football fans have been paying extortionate prices to watch their teams for decades with little or no benefit for 90%. For footballers to be paid vast amounts of money per week is ludicrous! The enormous profit the FA make should help improve/modernise stadia for many clubs. Oh, how us supporters are taken for mugs!

Well done Bristol Rovers football club for keeping prices affordable, when other slimy clubs like sh**ty and yeovile are whacking up the prices. My spot on the west stand is a bargain and renewed for another year UTG

As far as the FA, I understand loans are available to develop football stadia but as we've never got past the planning stage we've never been able to claim anything from the fund.

My opinion, from someone probably living in the past, is that the whole pricing structure in the Football League is outrageous for pay on the day fans, but I must be wrong because attendances are up year on year. And they're not all season ticket holders. How many aren't? I don't know. Up to 50% of those at any given match?
We are probably pretty reasonably priced compared to many others. It just seems a very expensive day out to me. I suppose I don't need to have two pints at £6 each or an overpriced sausage roll, but it's all a part of the day.

Happy to pay for premium entertainment. However when we’re at the Fruitihad, I think we should fill the empty seats with the next generation of Rovers fans. Super cheap tickets for the youngsters.

The depressing thing here, is that it costs roughly the same to go and watch a Premier league match. They can afford the overinflated wages thanks to the obscene amounts of sponsorship money they receive.
Smaller clubs still try to compete with them for players without this.

I don't think football is too badly priced really. If you compare it to the cost of other live events. Going to a football game isn't just about the football. It's the atmosphere around it , getting three hours of doing something for myself with a bit of peace and quiet and the tradition of it. I'm willing to pay a reasonable amount for that. If you get a season ticket it's cheaper than subscribing to sky for the football for a year.
