David to stand down as Supporters Club Chair

Dear member.
I very much regret to inform you that I have taken the difficult decision to stand down as your Chair. This is, I’m afraid to say, for health reasons.
I face a period of treatment that will take three months (at a minimum) and during this time I will not be able to attend any meetings or games, and will not be as visible as I usually am.
The Executive Committee of the Supporters Club have agreed that no replacement for me will be named and I fully intend to return to my duties as soon as I can.
I will still be in the background offering my advice and support and I can assure you all that, in Helen’s hands, the Supporters Club is in a very safe place.
