Just a bit of fun by this stage.
11th would be solid improvement but keep collins and sign another decent 3, I'd hope for more/ top 6.
Lose Collins, miss too many signings and we'll be lower than 11th.

Thought the comments about us were spot on and 11th is most likely where we're at compared to other sides!
I think we'll finish a few places higher if we have a settled solid defensive unit which will depend how Cox/Belshaw/Ward perform and who we bring in to play alongside Wilson!
We have goals in us and if we're firing on all cylinders we could be in with a shout of the playoffs

Am I missing something but who have Lincoln signed to warrant them being tipped for a top 6 finish? I'd put them in the bottom third on how they finished last season. |

I’m going with a steady 14th placed finish for us in 2023/24. Realistically think we will be in and around top 10 January / February time but won’t have enough to kick on for those play offs. Another year of building, get the attendances up again & continue to look towards our new (hopefully) stadium & future to be sustainable to gain promotion to Championship.

Most of the predictions I've seen (made before some of our signings) seem to have us 11th or 12th, a couple a bit higher, 8th or 9th, but everyone seems to think we're stronger this year and an outside bet for playoffs/promotion and have praised our business so far. Be interesting to see where we are at the end of the transfer window, with loans etc coming in.

I fancy Reading to finish in the bottom 4 another transfer embargo imposed on them they are really going to struggle this season IMO.
Don't be surprised if a points deductions on top of that embargo is added

Interesting reading this where the pundits/columnists had us at the start of the season, obviously only a quarter of way into the season so far.
Personally I predicted to my Gashead mates and fellow football fans we’d challenge for 6th, I’m being hammered up here in Oxford at the moment!
My revised prediction is 12th.
The bookies have us at 13/2 to make the play offs, the odds are now going out but many on here still think Barton can muster a play off challenge and worth a bet for them with the two home games coming up.
