All the Season Cards arrived today.
Earlier today ALL of us had our digital tickets forwarded.

I see the new season ticket has a QR code on it, is it this that the scanners reads to allow entry, or has the card a chip in it ?
As it's a new system I'd have thought the latter but this is the Rovers !!!
Nothing stopping the QR code to be copied so no need for the actual card to be used ? tho I'd hope it'll only allow enterance once/game ??

I bought my tickets online and downloaded the QR code to my phone. Once scanned the system blocks you from reusing it. Never had a problem |

My season tickets still nowhere to be seen….
Asked if I could collect as was at the ground early today and was told they have been posted so wait for them.
I will not be surprised in the slightest if they haven’t been received before Wycombe.
On the upside … the seats we have instead today are pretty good.

We found that our two new season tickets are in different seats from the ones selected on the site when purchased.
I wonder what the chances are of them being swapped for the selected seats?

Thank god no one moaned unnecessarily So you don’t think people were entitled to express concern that tickets bought 3 or 4 months earlier were not arriving until the season had already started and were worried about not getting in? Not the first time there has been a balls up with ST’s and anxieties about not getting in were probably heightened on the journey to the game if listening to the radio and hearing e-tickets failing tens of thousands at Arsenal. I’ve said before fans shouldn’t start thinking this annual season ticket fiasco is a new and acceptable norm. The clubs recognise they had badly let us down by apologising. |

The two extremes are people that worry about everything that might happen and those that only worry about things when they happen.
Trying to find somewhere in between where you think about what might happen and what to do if it does tends to lead to a calmer life in my experience.
Deal with the things you can and try not to worry about the things you can’t was advice to me from my old granny back in the 50’s.
It’s a shame the Club hasn’t sorted out the season tickets earlier for several seasons now but there’s nothing we could do but roll with it. The point is the Club perhaps can/could do something - like change providers? Demand better service? Pay for better service?
I find it annoying that as an Over65 I have to pay more for the West Stand than East Stand but I understand and it’s my choice. I don’t think the Club is getting too much wrong overall (particularly on the field) but the debacle over the South Stand shows a lack of experience, not enough research and no contingency planning - not acceptable really.

Buy tickets for a game in October, around April time. They never show up and then made to queue up at the ticket office for 2hrs with thousands of others waiting for a reprint😄

I have the same so have emailed them as my block of 4 that I’ve renewed from last season arrived and we look to be sat separately, which will certainly not be acceptable after the 22.5% price increase and the fact my kids saw very little of the Barnsley game due to having no view of the pitch on a terrace instead of the seats we renewed and paid a premium for. Not particularly happy with all of this at this point, though trying to stay positive and see the bigger picture. |
