Already a sizeable Gas contingent waiting at Yate station, Thatchers going down early doors, lads old n young decked out in a mix of shorts and heavy duty wet weather gear, the conditions are abysmal! First week in August?
I’m confident of a good start today, would take a draw but have a sneaky feeling we’ll win it with a late one after a first class performance🔥💙

This match will be won and lost in midfield.

He will be on the ground holding his face if Sam tackles him.

Ere we go then , no more relaxing Sat afternoons ! Fans of the 24 teams in our league all with the same hopes , those hopes are more like expectations for fans of the few entitled ones in the league who think their historical achievements should guarantee their success, a few more humble souls expect nothing for the same reason and the majority like Rovers fans probably, are hoping it's going to be our turn to do a Plymouth. Some are going to be 'surprised ' by how the season unfolds at both ends of the table. I believe we will be contenders for a play off place at times this season even if we fall just short , but who knows!, certainly have options across most areas of the pitch. Good luck to JB ,all the coaches ,players old and new, safe trip for all the fans going to Pompey have a great day ,we are due a first day win! Weather looks awful and hope wind does not spoil game to much, up the Rovers !

Im hoping for a good performance with us creating a fair few chances.
Who knows what the result will be but promotion or relegation are not obtained on game one.
