Don't get started on this again!
We lost lots of money in lost sales last season (50/50, away food and drink, programmes, plus various on line food and drink sales points not working throughout the Mem).
You would have thought someone would have thought of a contingency rather than the not very customer service policy of a strict, our way or no way.

No doubt at least one till somewhere at the Mem will lose connection or break, or a programme sellers card reader won't work throughout the season. What are they going to do - get the pasty hut staff to carry all the varieties of pie, pasties and drinks to another hut, trying not to mix them all up and will the stewards allow fans from one area go to another part of the ground just to get a pie?

Or just put the shutters down and call it a day?

If Ryan Air can take a card payment at 20,000 feet then there is no reason for any retailer to be in the situation of not being able to take cards.
