This morning on the BBC breakfast show they did a 10 minute interview with Marcus. It showed some of his goal, none of his Gas goals and no mention of his being part of the Gas management team, it was mostly about the game today between Sunderland and Ipswich which of course were, apart from the Gas, who he played for after leaving us.
Was a bit dissapointed that the Gas were not mention at all in the interview.
Should be available on Iplayer around abour the 8.22 time.

I still haven’t forgiven the BBC commentary about Rickie Lambert “If England want a big carthorse to lump the ball to he’s your man”
Just because he came out the lower leagues
Football is a bit like the class system in the army, they don’t like men raised from the ranks into officer roles. You have to have been part of the gentry of the big clubs otherwise you’ll be scoffed at.

Lambert was probably the most technically gifted player I’ve seen at the memorial stadium. |

I saw the Stewart interview - it was as the OP says mainly about his visit to the SoL to promote his work on MND. The BBC did show a picture of him in Rovers kit but with the standard of BBC 'Researchers' now they probably thought it was Ipswich!
